This bed is super sturdy, but people are right, it was a nightmare to build. A drill is helpful. Be most careful when putting together the stairs and pay close attention to the positioning of the holes. We installed a wooden part of the stair wrong and had to disassemble half of them to fit. I love this bed! All the storage is great, the built in grid walls are super useful. You can tell from the photo I'm a maximalist and its the perfect bed for my small room. Its so sturdy it barely creaks when I crawl in, I'm an adult of about 160 pounds, and me and my girlfriend slept on it together and it accomodated us just fine. I use the storage bins to display my plushies and installed a third grid wall to hold my nail polish shelf. I'm not a "settling" type of person and did lots of research for a bedframe to suit all my needs and this was for sure the one.

1. Shipping The bed was shipped in 2 boxes. I only recieved a tracking number for one box so I did not know when the 2nd one was going to arrive. Both boxes arrived a week earlier than anticipated. Although the boxes themselves did arrive damaged, none of the contents inside were damaged because of the adequate padding put in place. 2. Assembly The instructions were easy to understand once you study the book for a bit. It's just a matter of looking at the pictures very closely. It took us a a few hours to build it with some minor interruptions. There were a couple of parts that came unlabled, however, I was able to figure out which parts I needed to use because they were pretty distinguishable from the rest. Some of the hollow metal beams that needed screws had holes too big for the screws on one side of the beam but the other side would be the correct size for the screw so that it would still fit in place. I would recommend assembling it with another person just because there were some pieces that needed to be flipped over and held together while being screwed in place. I definitely recommend using a power drill because you will get tired from using the tiny screwdriver provided or even get hand cramps. 3. The Bed The frame itself is very sturdy, especially with the stairs on the side. I appreciate all the options it comes with, however I have to say the white version looks the best. The height is perfect as it lets me sit upright on the bed without touching the ceiling. You will need to duck underneath it to reach the desk if you are over 5 feet tall. It has doubled the space in my room and also provides a closet and 3 storage bins. The stair steps are a bit narrow in that your foot will be hanging off the front of it, but they are wide enough to where you can sit down to tie your shoes. The desk area is a good height and one of the reasons I bought it. One drawback I would say is the shelves in the corner of the desk area. The bottom 2 shelves absolutely WILL NOT FIT any books placed vertically. The height between the shelves is not tall enough to fit the average book and I was very disappointed when I found out seeing as I was looking forward to placing my books there for an easy reach. I know I could place them horizontally, however, that defeats the purpose of an "easy reach" as I would need to lift up my books to get the one I want rather than just grabbing it smoothly off the shelf. Surprisingly, the top shelf does fit all but one of my books because of the greater height between that shelf and the underside of the bed frame. I would recommend using the shelves for displaying small figurines or small picture frames for that reason. Although if you do display figurines, I recommend mounting the bed frame to the wall, otherwise you will need to pick up the fallen things every time you accidentally shake the bed too hard. I love the LED lights that came with it. They light up my room enough to where I don't need to turn on the big overhead light. I love the grates that came with the S-hooks as they allow me to hang whatever I want from them. Overall, I would recommend this bed because of the space it saves while also having a built in desk. I think it's worth the buy.

This bed frame is an absolute room saver!!! I absolutely love it and could not be happier with the results. Everything came as advertised and it very good quality. The measurements were exactly the same as the listing, all the parts came labeled, wrapped, and secured. The frame itself is very sturdy, I’ve been sleeping in it for a couple weeks now. The height of the bed frame is also perfect because it allows just enough room to sit upright on the bed without hitting your head on a standard 8ft ceiling. 100% worth the money and time. Assembly will take a while, it took a friend and I an entire day to assemble it, however I believe it’s totally worth it. USE POWER TOOLS WHEN POSSIBLE. We solely used manual screwdrivers, so that’s why it took longer. I also suggest tweaking the instruction order for the stairs to construct the bottom first, so you don’t have to flip the entire staircase over. Highly recommend!!!!

Easy to assemble … NOT !!! You’ll probably throw some “f” bombs here and there… An Engineering degree and full metal shop required! As others have said the instructions are very hard to understand with multiple ways to make mistakes that require assembling and disassembling the parts a few times. So frustrating! Some of the holes were drilled too large and the screw heads would go completely through so we needed to add washers. Some threaded inserts were threaded so crooked I had to screw the screws in and then bend them straight to fit correctly. All that said, the end result is just what we were expecting and we like it . Love the stairs and seems sturdy. Not creaking. Has a cool padded tape that goes on the horizontal bed bar under the mattress to make it frictionless. Holds decent weight . Really cool LED light features that my daughter loves. Over all we are happy the cloth drawers only hold light weight items or they fall through. The assembly took 4 hours Saturday night and 3 hours more Sunday. So be prepared for a long assembly! Read the instructions ALL THE WAY THROUGH ahead of time so you don’t have to back track your mistakes. GOOD LUCK! You may want to hire a handyman for $200 to put it together and save yourself the agony.

I’m super happy with this loft bed frame. The setup is really clever, especially the staircase—each step has storage built into it, which is a huge space-saver. The shelving along the side and underneath is perfect for books, toys, or décor, and the built-in desk makes the whole layout feel functional instead of bulky. The frame itself feels sturdy and stable, with solid guardrails all around the top so it feels safe. There’s plenty of headroom underneath and up top. It also looks great once built—modern, clean, and easy to customize with lights. The LED lighting underneath gives it a really fun vibe. Assembly definitely takes some time, but once it’s up, you can tell it’s well-designed. Overall, this is an excellent bed frame for maximizing space and creating a really cool bedroom setup. Would totally recommend!

My son is only 65 lbs and the middle support bar is already bending which poses a safety hazard after a year. The seller refused to send me a replacement part because I’m out of the warranty timeframe and they suggested I should buy a new bed. No thanks. Horrible product and horrible seller.

While I absolutely love this bed for my daughter, putting it together was a horrendous nightmare. You kinda need a polyamorous family to make the assembly project not terrible. It took 3 adults over 2 days to put it together. The instruction booklet has no written instructions, which I'd normally like (ADHD), but it also isn't zoomed in the pics so we had to move the 4 supporting poles around MULTIPLE TIMES. It was incredibly frustrating. There were several steps like this. They really need to update the instructions to zoom in on those important steps. Anyway, if you're like me and bawk at a $319 professional assembly add-on, make it a party and prepare for some heartache. That being said, this is perfect for my daughter's room. It isn't a big room and the ceilings are low. She's 9 and this works well for her now and she asked me to come up there to hang out with her and it wasn't uncomfortable for me either. I couldn't sit straight up but I can sit comfortably in a normal chair in the desk area. I'm a 5'3", 220 lb woman.

This bed is sturdy and love many features about it. However, the instructions are inadequate. It appears to be a standard and easy assembly, but it’s not. We’ve (my husband and I) have put together every piece of furniture that we own. My husband is a carpenter, and I work with him daily. So we aren’t unfamiliar with assembly. We encountered unaligned frame drill holes and ill fitting pieces. The stairs were set up be attached to the right, but it was unworkable and had to be moved to the left. The desk piece was fitted to and set up to be screwed into the wrong side. The drawers.. the main piece doesn’t have holes to attach the drawers. We had to drill them. It’s as if we were sent parts to two different bed frames. We had to make it work, because our sons needed a bed for the night. The bed is structurally sound, but we don’t recommend buying this. Unless you are experienced in assembly and troubleshooting.
