I was pleasantly surprised by this frame. It has worked out great for our guestroom. Assembly was extremely simple and very straightforward. It still blows my mind that we have been conned into believing that we absolutely must use a box spring with our mattress. I much prefer having my mattress be lower to the floor. This frame allows you to accomplish that while still leaving an ample amount of space for storage underneath. It is extremely sturdy and has held up very well to quite a bit of use. You really can't beat this price for a quality bed frame that is sure to last many, many years. I'd definitely recommend it!

I am so glad I found this bed frame! I have always had a mattress without a box spring. I enjoy my bed being lower and not having to haul a box spring when I move, which is often. I also really wanted something that had storage space because I keep my off-season clothes under the bed. When the package arrived, it was placed in a box that was exactly the size of the frame. I was thankful for this because the frame didn't shift around or get scratched. It was packed extremely well. I wish they had used less plastic packaging because there was a lot! I guess the company packs them like that to avoid any chance of damage durring shipping. Putting the frame together took about 30 minutes. It was very straightforward, and anyone can do it. Please remember to put the frame together in the room you are keeping it in! You will have difficulty getting this frame through the door after it is assembled. The frame is not extremely heavy; I could flip it despite being a small woman. The worst part was putting my mattress back on The bed frame was very sturdy! There was no movement or shaking when the mattress was placed on the frame. My old bed frame was leaning and bent at one of the legs, so I was happy to see how sturdy this new one was. The metal doesn't feel thick or heavy, but this frame is sturdy. This frame provides plenty of space under the bed. I was used to a bed with an 8-inch clearance, so this frame feels far off the ground. The height doesn't look goofy, and I enjoy having the extra space under my bed. I could easily fit a larger container under the bed with the additional height. This frame is not adjustable, so it cannot be lowered or raised as some can. Overall, this frame is a great budget option for those looking for a sturdy, compact, and medium height option.
