abunda_amazon_reviews I bought this stand because I love the design, therefore I am willing to pay a premium. However, for a product with MSRP of $50, this build quality is just not acceptable. The paint is chipped, rubber feet has rough edges, and the metal surface is not even smooth. Requested a replacement and the product I received still have these problems. Very disappointed by the build quality.;;Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2019;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Great design but unacceptable build quality;;Amazon Customer;;;I am not sure what to say about this piece since it is just a single piece of (plastic?) that sits on my desk and holds my laptop at what seems to be a much better angle than having the laptop sit flat. Gravity holds the laptop securely in place and it is no problem to take the laptop off the stand -- it takes longer to disconnect the cables I have attached. I appreciate the simplicity and effectiveness of the design. I have a standing desk and my arrangement is a laptop on the left with a monitor on the right and an external keyboard + trackpad on the lower level. This stand holds my open laptop at a height and an angle that matches that of the other monitor, which is supposed to decrease strain and prevent the need for you to constantly look "down" at the laptop screen. It is nice in that it raises my laptop off the desk a bit and allows me to use the space under the laptop for storage if I need it. For what it is worth, you don't really need this if you keep your laptop closed and just use the external display. Also, it would be difficult to use the keyboard and trackpad/touchpad on an open laptop if it were on this stand, so you really need to have the correct setup for this to be useful to you.;;Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2018;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Single piece, durable, well designed;;D. Baer;;;Product description says "Compatible with laptops 11" To 17"" so I thought I would buy this for my 17" razer blade pro. My razer blade pro 17" BARELY works on this. It seems precariously balanced on the stand in such a way that the slightest push or even opening the screen to a certain angle could cause it to loose balance and fall off the back of the stand. If they had made the bars that hold the laptop, just slightly longer, this wouldn't have been an issue. Also the curve at the end of the bars (that prevent the laptop from slipping forward) seem to be too shallow. My laptop keeps riding up the lip and sometimes over it. The rubber helps it from just slipping off entirely, but the whole thing just doesn't feel secure.;;Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2020;;2.0 out of 5 stars;;Great Design, barley works for 17" Razer Blade Pro;;WhatAreYouBuyen;;;I wouldn't normally write a review of such a simple product w/ five starts - I think it's exactly what you can imagine it is. I’m using it with a 2019 MacBook Pro and also tried it with my 2011 MacBook Air - both of which fit perfect on it.
