So, as a retired professional nail tech, I've definitely got some of the tools of the trade and occasionally have to replace something. And that *something* most recently was my toenail clippers. I used a different style of clippers in the shop, back in the days when I was working, but I had Tweezerman clippers at home, along with their tweezers. These are super sharp and nicely weighted. The blades line up EXACTLY. If you've ever had a cheap or old pair, you probably know how awful they are to use when you want a crisp, clean cut. Though I bought the set with one fingernail pair and one toenail pair, I just use the later for everything, and put the smaller pair into my makeup bag. I have never been able to successfully use regular fingernail clippers on my finger nails. I've always had to use the larger "toenail" clippers. These from Tweezerman are different though. The small clippers have no problems at all cutting my nails and I've found myself carrying them around. The large ones are nice too but they are straight edged instead of curved and I'm afraid of hurting myself. ... show more

These are nice and sharp and work very well. I do miss the swing out nail file. I don't use it as a file but it's great at cleaning under the nail with the pointy end.
