Tweezerman has been my go-to for tweezers for years. I finally bought these small nail clippers and will never go back to the cheap drugstore brand. They are so much sharper and give a very clean cut. It wouldn’t seem like that big of a deal, but it truly makes a big difference. Highly recommended.

Overall it's pretty solid, unfortunately no nail cleaner on this one, and while it's very solid metal some of the joints are a bit too tight and 'scratchy' when trying to open/close them, so it's a bit jammed sometimes, which also makes the clip down a bit stiff and clunky but overall it serves it's purpose well! ... show more

    • slippery to hold with one hand and squeeze
I have used Tweezerman tweezers in the past and they are known for their super high quality so I thought I couldn't go wrong with their clippers. Well, I'm thinking about going back to a cheaper but better designed clippers. These have no grip on the end where you apply pressure and your finger slips off making it a pain to use. they should be textured or coated for grip or bent at a different angle so your finger has a flatter angle to press on. That being said, if you can hold them long enough to clip, then they do cut good. nice and sharp. So good steel, just not so good design. Thanks ... show more

    • These actually cut fingernails.
This is the only brand of fingernail trimmers that actually cut cleanly. I've bought several other brands from department stores and beauty supply shops. Those typically crush the nail rather than cut. I'm happy with this brand and price is good.

It cuts, it’s built well, it’s priced nicely. What’s more to want? It doesn’t have that little fingernail thing that folds out btw.

    • Not a "smooth" experience
The stainless steel finish seems to be "matte," which leads to it not easily gliding across your nail/skin. It's tricky to explain, but it's not a smooth experience. Also, it does not come with the "attachment" that allows you to scrape underneath the nail.
