    • This is a game changer for my son's Nintendo!
I got this for my son because everytime his nintendo is connected onto the original charging station for HDMI that came with, it kept heating up after 15mins of using and automatically turns off. The stock switch dock doesn't allow you to view the switch when docked. The stock dock also doesn't allow heat to leave the switch when in use, so it gets the switch pretty warm. This dock not only docks/charges the switch on an open area to allow heat to leave the switch. But it also allows you to view the switch and use it as a stand. The only con I've found so far is that it's not build durable. It is a cheap plastic that ended up breaking on me. The product still works, but the internal electronic are off kilter so it's hard to plug the power cable in. For the price I would absolutely buy another one. Purchased this dock as a gift thinking it would be an economic alternative to official Nintendo products. Currently have a standard (official Nintendo) Switch dock setup. Unhooked my (official) dock from the (official) power and HDMI cables, replaced with WEGWANG dock and connected power and HDMI. Unit does not light up, even after pressing or pressing and holding button on back of unit. Switch does not recognize unit, TV shows 'no input'. Seems this item works for other people so I assume I am one of the few unlucky to receive a defective product. Still, reading other reviews tells me I am not the only person with this problem. My DVD player sparked and blew all components connected to my TV with HDMI cables. The switch docking station was one of those components. I was lucky that the actual Switch did not blow. I ordered this docking station, it arrived quickly and when it said it would. This dock is actually more aesthetically pleasing than the original. It sits at an angle with nothing blocking the view of the screen. The price was very reasonable. Everything works like a charm now. I wrote another review of this transaction on accident, it was not meant for this seller.     • An affordable alternative
This dock for the Nintendo Switch works well and is simple to use. One thing to take note of and this is acknowledged in the instructions as well. Please, make sure to use the official Nintendo power adapter for the Switch. Initially, I was using the same USB- C cable I use to charge my phone. However, I noticed performance issues during my gameplay that was not present when using the original dock and power adapter. I then switched the power cables and witnessed a drastic improvement with performance. So, just keep that in mind if you're planning on using third party adapters with this dock. ... show more

After spending 2 days trying to get my grandsons Nintendo Switch to work on his new roku TV. I got extremely frustrated so I ordered this product. His original docking station worked fine on our old TV but for some reason with this new one it kept saying no signal than would work for a bit and back to no signal. Anyway I ordered this today it came about 4 hours later I just hooked it up and not once did we get no signal. Nintendo has been working fine so far. If there are any issues I will write another review. As for now I'm very happy with this product. Not to mention how small it is which is great. I highly recommend this product. ... show more
