Color: Red
Now when looking at this it is not a new condition console it’s just how Nintendo named the newer more powerful lineup of 3Ds systems works just fine but modded without fbi installed come on man if you are gonna put luma 3DS just put FBI on it whatever still very good choice if you are buying a 3DS

  • Didn't even know there was a difference between a "New 3DS" and a "3DS"
Color: Red
This is amazing! When I bought this, I didn't know that it was the newest version of the 3DS so I am more than happy with my purchase. There are so many great features. Prior to purchasing this, I only had a DSi. This is a massive improvement. Pros: - The console is backwards compatible. Your old DS or DSi games will definitely work on this, you just won't be able to use the 3D function on them. (For example, my copy of Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns runs flawlessly. I'd argue that it runs better than it did on the DSi) - The XL screen prevents me from squinting at the screen as I had done on my DSi. It also makes the device itself larger and easier to hold. Even with my small hands, it was a struggle to wield my DSi so I would always recommend an XL screen. - There's a smaller "knob" which can help focus the camera/ control your game much better than you could in the original 3DS. This, along with the other analog stick, makes playing very enjoyable. - The interior is matte. This prevents smudges and fingerprints. - So many cameras. There are two in the back and one in the front. I could play with just the cameras all day. - 3D isn't as headache-inducing as it was on the original 3DS. They've improved the face tracking in this version which has made it leaps and bounds easier on my head. - I don't know how the browser was for the original 3DS, but this is amazing compared to what it was for the DSi. Pleasantly surprised that Nintendo has created a browser that will run Youtube, especially in such a visually pleasing way. The buttons indicate that you may be able to use the 3D functionality on videos, but I haven't come across anything that works well yet. Cons: - The layout isn't as visually pleasing as the original 3DS, in my opinion. There used to be three buttons just below the touch screen but now there is only one (the home button). Also, the holes for the speaker are a weird plus sign pattern instead of the nice circle. - At the moment, there aren't any great console-exclusive games. Nintendo has stated that there would be games that could run on this, but they're not big titles or anything. As a result, the shoulder buttons seem kind of useless. - I bought mine used- like new for $140 from Amazon's warehouse deals. I would not at all pay the $200 for it. Most of the games for this system (even those that are old) are $30-50. Buying a system that is worth four-to-five of the games that run on it is a little absurd. If you have the cash it is worth it, otherwise I would wait for the price to drop or scope out the warehouse deals as I did. If you have the money to buy this and a handful of games for it all at once, then I think it's a fantastic buy. But if you have to wait and save up for the games then you may become a little disappointed in the system. It might also be a good upgrade if you're still in the DS/DSi era, like me. It's roughly the same price as the original 3DS, so if you're making a choice between this or the original I would recommend this. It's definitely fun to use and can even bring new life to games that you may have had sitting around for a while (that analogue stick has saved me from so many hand cramps already!). Can't wait to start digging in to the games I've been missing out on. ... show more

  • Definitely not new, but works.
Color: Red
The system came and there’s a huge scratch on the bottom, screens are scratched, outer shell is scratched, round disk on the controls is scratched up and nicked on an edge. Came with a janky 3rd party split charger and used micro sd card with photos and videos still on it. All buttons still work, reads games, has a new stylus, 3d and face tracking works. Not worth the price for this condition. This is used fair condition if not poor and will need a lot of refurbishing on top of what was paid for the unit. Update: Price needs to be dropped by about $160 or more for amount of replacement parts on top of the unit. Needs: Screens (after cleaning, the scratches are deeper than first appears), touch pad screen (due to misreads and scratches), card reader bc some of the 3ds and ds games won’t read or crash mid game even after cleaning both game and slot, buttons due to material wearing down, shell (if u can find one) due to all the scratches on them, rubber screw cover (one was missing out of the box), battery (to be safe), circle pad, right nub due to misreads, and bumpers bc they stick sometimes. ... show more

  • Fantastic.
Color: Pink/White
In perfect working order. Such amazing nostalgia to have this device again. The exterior is slightly scratched, but it’s very minimal. The stylus is also not the original, but not a big deal. Thank you so much 😃

  • 24 and I still would like to have a gaming console
Color: Red
24 and I still would like to have a gaming console. I moved from the 3DS to this new 3DS XL. Indeed, the 3D functionality really improved, but if you have eye problems like me, it's not a feature you'll be really excited about. I bought this for the bigger screen and is much more comfortable to hold for hours than the 3DS. I am not a big fan of the glossy finish and I am yet to find a case that would work for me, so I am really careful about dropping it or placing it on any surface. As for the additional buttons/controls, I am also yet to find a game that will make full use of those. Adding/changing the memory card can be really tricky, unlike before. You will need a small screw driver that's made for electronic devices. Once you have it, twist until you hear a clicking sound. Do this for both screws then use the stylus to pry it open. Be careful as you might damage the cover (which happened to me) - if you're thinking of using part of it as a lever, forget it, don't over analyze like I did. :) Place the thicker end of the stylus, the one right at the tip, in the small space on the side then pull it towards you. The cover feels too fragile for this much force so be careful. Challenges with the memory card don't end there, though. You also have to find the right memory card. I am using a regular 16GB Sandisk micro SDHC, I tried a fancier, faster variant but it wasn't compatible. It's not listed here, but you can refer to this link for reference: http://www.ign.com/wikis/nintendo-3ds/MicroSD_Cards_Compatible_With_New_Nintendo_3DS ... show more
