We live on the fringe of our "local" broadcast area, and don't receive any OTA channels. I have used powered rabbit ear. loop combo antennas without any luck. I tried this because it was inexpensive, but it did not work. That could be in part due to where my TV is located in the house. So, no, it didn't work for me...but might for others.

Good: Pulls in all local stations well when properly oriented (but see below.) Has well-protected adhesive pads on one side, so you can decide whether or not to use them. Can't beat the price. Bad: Both the instructions in the box and the product description here are inaccurate. This antenna has no "built-in powerful signal amplifier" as stated in the product description. The instructions say to connect the coax plug to the antenna jack on the TV, and plug the USB plug into a USB jack or charger. The latter is impossible because there is no USB plug. Also, this antenna is NOT omnidirectional as the instructions state. Channel scan found 71 channels (probably nine actual channels, with 6-8 subchannels each.) When I turned the antenna 90 degrees, half of them broke up or disappeared. I suspect the vendor is conflating the specs with their model FX-9B, which does have a built-in amp. Bottom line: This antenna works fine for me, as almost all the stations I'm interested in are less than 20 miles away, and I can orient it any way needed for good reception. The misleading product description is annoying, and they had better change it, but I'm willing to cut the vendor some slack because of the ridiculously low price. If I lived in a suburban area, however, or if I had constraints on how I can position it, I would probably return it and get a real omni antenna. As is, four stars, would be two or three if it weren't so inexpensive.

I bought 3 of these to go with my Firesticks and my first foray into "cableless" existence. Needed these to get the one local station that for some reason is not on the firestick nor ont YouTube TV. These simple "off-air" antennas work like a champ. My son in another state had some unmet "off-air" challenges, so I recommend these inexpensive yet quality off-air antennas. He called me a few days later just to thank me for "...the best $7" he had ever spent. We are both very pleased and feel we got more than we paid for. We'll done.

This was an affordable way to pick up about 6 other channels. After scanning for new channels on my Roku TV that's all the channels I got, and one of the local primetime channels is very grainy.

I bought this "cheap" 2025 upgraded tv antenna to replace a $20 Moju that always disappointed in rainy or windy weather. I placed this indoor tv antenna on a high bookshelf pointing in the right direction of our local TV stations & instantly received great, HD programming with minimal interruptions in bad weather. And I saved $100/month by cutting the cable TV cord. Love that!!
