Super easy to install. The directions are through, simple, and easy to follow. High quality plastic that should last a long time. There is no hot water connection so there is no temperature control. Seems to work fine without warm water. It does add a bit more width to the toilet seat. I needed to replace the plastic nuts that hold the seat to the tank because I was not comfortable with the plastic nuts not having as much of the bolt to attach to. Installing took about 30 minutes, probably longer than need as I double checked all fittings. Seating the plastic intake was harder than anticipated in order to line up the threads perfectly. Sometimes you just need a little help "down there" after doing your business, and I was tired of using a ton of toilet paper, or using what are called flushable wipes, but so-called "flushable" wipes are not actually good for city sewer systems and shouldn't be flushed. So I finally went and bought this bidet. For the most part, it was easy to install, however, I had leaks the first several times as I tried to put it in, and only after multiple attempts was I able to install it without it leaking. Also, although the instructions say that the bidet kit includes a brass mega adaptor, the one they gave me was plastic. This is the main reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I paid a lot of money for this bidet, the printed instructions say the part is brass, the instruction video says the part is brass, but you go and send me plastic. I fully expect this plastic part will not stand the test of time. So those are my only complaints. Once installed, the bidet works great, OMG where have you been all my life! My daughter was at my house and used it, then went out and bought her own for her apartment. So overall, the bidet works great and keeps you clean and fresh without having to use a ton of toilet paper or wipes. I thought I would have a problem with the water being too cold, but for the few seconds you're using it on your tushy, it's OK that it's cold water and not warm. ... show more

I can't say much about the function yet, but I'm quite ticked at the company with respect to the instructions and installation. They go overboard in trying to make it seem like this is a universal fit and easy to install and leave out or bury some important information. - This will not work with all toilets - there is a sentence in the description that says that, but it's easy to miss, especially if you don't know what they mean by "standard toilet." If you have anything other than a basic toilet with the separate tank that sits on the back, check their website carefully. It won't work on most others. - This will not work with all toilet seats. They don't mention that anywhere. I have (had) a plastic toilet seat, with a concave bottom, and the seat itself sits flat or nearly flat against the rim. If you have this, it won't work. You need a seat that has thick bumpers underneath that holds the seat up off the rim at least as high as the bidet frame is thick - between about 1/8 and 1/4 inch. - When you first turn the dial, the water will be shooting straight down, and you will think something is wrong. The instruction manual makes no mention of this. You have to go to the troubleshooting section of their website to figure it out. What's going on is the self-cleaning function. When you first turn the knob, and until you get it turned about halfway up, the water will shoot directly down, over the nozzle. Perhaps if they spent less time writing stupid butt puns and concentrated more on the practical side of their business they'd do better. - Once you get past all that, the instructions are clear and the installation is quite easy. - Some reviews mention that their screws won't go all the way through. I don't understand that because the part the screws go through is flexible, and so adds little or nothing to the height. But I suppose if your screws are already maxed out it could be a problem. A couple other things to check before you buy - - Is the water line/ connector hose behind the toilet easily accessible? You will need it to be. - Can you easily turn the valve handle to shut off the water to the toilet, and can you easily unscrew the connector hose from the bottom of the tank, or are they frozen due to age/mineral buildup? - Is the water connection flexible, or rigid? You will need it to be flexible. ... show more
