I bought this because I purchased a home that had tile that is porous and collected dirt easily. I didn't want to rent one of those massive scrubbers you can rent. I have a Shark scrubbing mop and I thought I wonder if it will work. I did have to cut this down to size ..but was able to stick it on ( velcro on my Shark) and it worked like a charm. I still had to go back and mop but it scrubbed everything off. It's didn't degrade either when I used it with the mop/steamer. I would suggest getting the right size but honestly it was fairly easy. The smaller portions I cut and use them for other cleaning.

I was looking for a scrubby sponge type attachment for my Stainmaster Brand Mop. I knew my brand mop was not listed as one it was compatible with, but where there is a will there is a way;) The dimensions of the mop top are larger than my mop head so was able to snap into place on top of the mop head like I do with every other brand refill. There are two bummers though. The pads are quite thin. I was using to wash my medium kitchen floor (tile) after my senior pup has an accident and walked through it leaving pee paw marks everywhere:) I ended up using 3 of the 5 because they didn't really absorb anything, rather just sloshed around the cleaner while all the gunk I was scrubbing got stuck in the mop material making it less "scrubby" (hence changing 3 times.) I wish these were dual layer with an absorbant part (similar to a real sponge) to minimize the sloshing aspect. Second thing is that although they definitely held up in the washer! They didnt really come clean and the gunk was still stuck in the material and the mop top itself seemed fairly weathered. I ended up washing again just to see if it would help, but no dice. I then air dried. Are they still reuseable? Sure, bit I dont expect much life out of them and will only use for lighter jobs going forward. I would not consider these for sufficient for scubbing anything heavier than accumulated dust. I will try placing this over a microfiber towel next time just to see if there is an improvement in the slosh. All in all, great for light jobs, medicore reuse-ability, and kind of expensive given you could but 5 sponges at the dollar store and and tie them to your mop head and may get a better result :( Their customer support if amazing though and I know I should harsh but hope they reevaluate the design a bit

I bought these to use with my Bona mop. I finally got some Bona polish remover and these worked great to get the build up of Bona off (yes, it does build up). I tried it at first just scrubbing with a hand held scrubber and it was way too much work. Much easier with these scrubbers on the Bona mop. I’m sure they would work well to remove any floor cleaner build up.
