Made for the original straps, this case is nice that the charging can be done with the VP stored inside. The mag connection does require the use of this case all the time, unless the mag connector is removed for normal USB-C connection. Recommended for versatility.

I like that it's hard case and that there is storage for all the extras as well. I definitely feel better when traveling with this case than I do with the OEM fluffy marshmallow one. It's a nice solid build and I dont worry about any crushing or damage when I am on the road. It's also super easy to clip onto my backpack so Its ready and accessible during a flight. It's a worthwhile upgrade if you need a good way to travel with it.

This case works really well if you are using one of the straps that comes with the Vision, or something similar - if you have one of those bigger headset units, this case doesn't work great due to having to take it apart to put it in the case. Either way the extra charging built into the unit is fantastic! Always amazes me how often you can run out of juice, and knowing you have a charge ready to go in the case is great! Also came with the silicon slip for the battery on the Vision - I didn't realize I would get that, and it was a nice touch to help with any random hits to things you do with the battery.

I've tried several cases for my Vision Pro, but most were built for an Oculus and fit the AVP poorly. This case was designed from the outset with measurements and special accouterments to keep your AVP stylishly secure. (Interestingly, it looks like a case to hold a Cylon facemask from the 2000s version of BSG, as one of my cosplaying friends observed.) The outer semi-hard case looks like carbon fiber but is diamond mesh PU leather which is stiff enough to protect the AVP in your backpack or on a plane. The inside is custom-formed to hold your battery and cables, as well as the charger and charging cable. The pocket above the AVP is large enough for your phone or, in my case, a 5G hotspot I use on the road for my AVP The case includes a lens cover that fits perfectly with the standard lens protector on the AVP and also has a soft insert that sandwiches the visor and protects the inner screens from anything loose inside the case. It is a great design thoughtfully executed and I feel safer traveling with this case than any of the others I have tried. The case includes a sewn-in wriststrap for carrying which works well for me, but the included shoulder strap is very bare bones and needs a cushion or pad with a little grip to it to keep the case from slipping off your shoulder. I replaced mine with one from an old laptop carrying case after my first trip and was much happier. This is the best AVP case I have owned or even seen. I give it my highest recommendation.
