I'm not kidding, this is a fantastic knife for the price. I wanted a not-too-small-not-too-big general knife. The pairing knife from my otherwise excellent German knife set was too small and the small chef knife was too big. This knife is just right for many of the misc small cutting jobs. Jobs when you only need to cut a few of something like cucumbers, mushrooms, celery, carrots etc. The handle is easy to hold and doesn't slip in my medium sized hands. Besides, it looks beautiful with the fiery-red coloring. It very much stands out in the otherwise boring black block set. The blade is very sturdy. Far less flex that the smaller German pairing knife I'd likely compare it to. It's sharp... and has stayed sharp. Keep in mind that I'm not a knife neanderthal that can't be bothered to grab a cutting board. I use a cutting board, but also use the knife a bunch. I've not felt even close to busting out the knife sharpener. If you have made it this far in the, I have to note that this is now the second knife from this fiery red style that I *purchased*. No freebie knife-for-review here. I bought the second knife, since I loved the first so much. Here's my only very minor issue... I'd like to have the handle coated/protected/poly'd... I never let my wood handled knives set in water nor dumb enough to place in the dish washer. I use them and immediately clean then dry them. Very nice knife. Ordered to replace my wife's favorite, which I broke while she was on a trip. Wasn't a high end knife, but she used it all the time. Opened this knife and tried the typical trick you see in ads- slicing paper held free in the air. Usually does not work like you saw in the ads... But this one does. Sliced paper in thin strips so quick and clean, there was almost no resistance- and no tearing or buckling of the paper. Tried it on a couple veggie items. Scary sharp. Overall workmanship appears excellent too. Zero complaints. See what my wife thinks when she gets home tomorrow; she's never had a knife as sharp as this. ... show more

Well made knife. I have become a fan of Tuo knives. As long as the edge is maintained, this will provide great work. I process a lot of meats and the small work always goes to Tuo. The knife is very easy to hold but I only gave it 4 stars because I have small hands and the butt or grip end of the knife is a little longer than I like. I have to be very careful when using the knife because I can see that it would be very easy to cut myself.

I have owned this knife for only a few days but already I love it. It has a great feel and balance. Overall it is very well made and the blade is razor sharp. It is the perfect size for cutting small veggies. This knife is a great value for the price. I hope the seller does not raise the prices because of all the good reviews.
