I enjoyed that they fit my cars rims right out of the box and were easy to install and have stayed on since purchasing although I do dislike the fact the day I received them one of the decorative chrome lug nut trim fell off but other than that they do their job at covering my rusty steel wheels they have even lasted through 1 and a half foot deep snow and bumpy pot hole roads Edit: They are still holding up even after a couple more months of use I’ll post again when I’ve had them for a year since purchase 7/11/2020

This is my first experience buying dirt cheap hubcaps. It didn't go well. After 12 years of driving, our Honda lost one of its OEM hubcaps. When I found out OEM replacements were nearly $100 each and made of plastic, I looked elsewhere and found these. I figured, plastic is plastic, right? Wrong. When the new hubcaps arrived, I installed the metal rings (no instructions provided--I just happened to know to do that from researching), and while applying them to the wheels, chipped the edges of two of the brand new hubcaps trying to ensure they were properly seated. I was using a rubber mallet with layers of towel between mallet and hubcap. They chipped anyway. I successfully pushed home the remaining hubcaps using only the heel of my hand without chipping the final two. After driving a short trip at 45 MPH or less (no freeway driving), I lost one of the brand new hubcaps. I looked at the remaining hubcaps and could see all three appeared to be on the verge of popping loose, so I snugged them back into place. On my second short drive, again at 45 MPH or less, I lost a second hubcap. Basically, they don't seat properly on the wheel. My OEM hubcaps lasted about 12 years. These lasted about 12 minutes. -- Addendum -- About 12 hours after writing the above, there goes another hubcap, lost in the night. That's 3 lost hubcaps over a 2 day period.

Style, fit, appearance, all very good. But now after 1.5 years several are losing their finish in a big way. The silver is flaking off exposing black. Ugly, I'll need to replace very soon as it's just too trashy looking. Regrettable. Happen to anyone else?

The hubcaps were to replace the old bolt on that came from the factory on my Grand Am. They are plastic with a coating that looks like paint. The surface has the appearance of cast aluminum but is very smooth. The back has a metal tension ring that holds pressure on the plastic tabs when it's installed. The only problem I had was that the ring was too large and the caps wouldn't seat on the rim. As a remedy I used 2 pliers and bent the ring to shorten by about 1/4 in. After test fitting a couple times I found a good tension fully seated on the rim. It looks like the metal ring is made to adjust this way, but caps came with no instruction, so I wanted to post this in case it helps someone else adjust the fit
