They are rough on every thing, these might finally be the last umbrellas I have to purchase due to being abused! It seems to be a good durable umbrella. I haven’t had a chance to use it much with no rain to speak of lately. It is a little hard to close for me but opens very easily and covers well. The flowers underneath are very pretty.

My partner and I got two of these in different designs and love them. They fold up short and seem VERY strong -- not the kind that will collapse in a light wind. And we love the designs we picked. While they fold up short, they do so THICK, so they will take up more room than some umbrellas in a bag -- a briefcase maybe, probably not a purse. This thing is lovely. Highly recommend. Mostly used for sun protection - haven't used for rain yet but it's amazing for using on hot days with high UV. It seems to be really well designed and feels quite strong - the fabric is nice, it fits really well in a side pocket on a backpack, it pops open (takes a bit to close you have to push down on it but it just makes it feel like it's well made and won't break easily). ... show more
