Overall I love this press. It's easy to use and heats evenly and consistently. My only complaint is that it is hard to open when it's under pressure. I have started keeping a small rubber mallet next to the press to tap the handle, which solved the problem. All in all it's a great, affordable, portable press and I love it. Love the size and color, work space perfect. The instructions are not clearly explained however. The timer (very unclear to understand) and the closure mechanism to use is very difficult. Once you tighten it to “image your tumbler” and you time it on your watch cause the one on the machine is difficult to gage or understand, opening it back up by the way the clasp works is SO HARD. It takes lots of strength to oust the sides together to get it to release the clasp to get your tumbler out. And the cup was even worse. One of the knobs on the adjusters came loose from the bolt, not a biggie for me I super glued it back on to the bolt. As far as my designs on the tumbler/cups I have no issues, works fine. I’m just saying it’s not “user friendly”, but super cute and space saving. My next one will definitely have a different closing style. ... show more

This wasn’t what I was expecting. I was really looking for one with a temperature dial. However, this is a great press for beginners, because it allows you not to make a mistake and overheat your sublimations. I recommend this press. It’s a great little low cost start up press. It sublimates great. Love that it has preset times and temps! It is a little hard to close but well worth the price. I did have to YouTube directions. Thought I had to keep a mug in while warming up. Found out I do not. The no heating up with out a mug confused me. Just needs better directions. The media could not be loaded. My daughter bought this for her tumblers she makes...she loves this machine. It transfers sublimations amazingly... Gets the job done clear and presise. She does 3D subs ..frosted glass,metal tumblers .. ...she is very happy with this product....
