This is a little flimsy but you can't tell once it's installed. I really wanted to brighten up a dining area so I bought the "daylight" Edison bulbs. Holy surgical room!! This was so incredibly bright I had my electrician install a dimmer switch which helped but ultimately I ended up going with a "regular" bulb that has the ability to adjust to a softer white. If you want bright - this is definitely the fixture for you! At this price point it doesn't feel like a lifetime commitment but it looks really modern and definitely updated the space. ... show more

I moved to a new place that only had 8ft ceilings, so my old chandelier wouldn't work. I got this semi-flush sputnik light and have been very impressed with how well it looks, it sits very flush, so if you're looking for a flush modern looking light on a low ceiling this is your best best!
