This couch is awesome!! I absolutely love it- it wasn’t too hard to put together (2 people did this one but if you have the patience one could do it too) most of the stuff came pre assembled- it came in 3 big boxes. My only problem is I got a defective backboard piece and it wont allign with the rest (going to try and see if i can get it replaced), but besides that everything else is great! its not a fluffy cloud kind of couch but its firm and soft. The chair has a nice appearance. It is durable and sturdy. The assembly is quite simple and can be easily done. Having a cup holder and similar compartments is very practical. It's ideal for students.

I spent about 3 hours putting this couch together and once together I sat on it to find out that is the most uncomfortable couch one could ever own. The bottom side of the seat cushions have a a Velcro strip and is supposed to meet with the Velcro strip on the base of the couch, but they do not meet and as a result the cushions do not stay in place. The back cushions are very loosely filled and the filling makes the cushions look like they have been used for many years, and they are not evenly filled, so they look uneven, even after trying to move around the filling. The top of the back cushions is so low that it only meets your back about midway up, so there will NEVER be a time when you can sit down on this piece of furniture and lean back and feel any type of comfort. A total waste of my money, not to mention my time to put this horrible piece of furniture together! ... show more

If I could give a negative stars review I would need another 10 stars added on the negative side of the stars scale because this futon is so bad. The legs all wabble and don't screw all the way into the frame of the futon. Someone left footprints all over the futon mattress I can't get them off so it's filthy really filthy (I think someone purchased the futon and returned it that's how dirty it is) and the box is to trashed to use it for a return of the futon. On top of all that I drive a motorcycle not a car so I can't transfer the futon to the post office so I can return it. LONG STORY SHORT I JUST GOT SCREWED ... show more

This futon is not meant to be fully put together the screws are missing and if you had all the pieces the hole are just holes nothing there to screw into it’s just deep holes in futon. You can not put the arms on this futon if you wanted to
