This Good Scout Tumbler Ball is one SOLID toy and my dog absolutely is obsessed with it. There's a hole through the center you can fill if so desired. I put a little peanut butter in there when I first gave it to her, but haven't needed to do anything to entice her to play with it since. As other reviewers have pointed out, the tumbler ball has some heft to it and so is more of a toy to chase than to catch. It's fun to roll because of how it bounces irregularly. I also purchased the Good Scout Cage Ball, which she loves second to the Tumbler Ball. The Cage Ball is not as hefty and you can get a good grip on it to play tug. Plus she just loves to sit and chew on both of these, which is one of the main reasons I purchased them. Not a single tooth mark on either one yet! I like this but it has one flaw, it is too not a still toy. My dog loves to chase a toy you can roll. While this rolls well, it is only about 80% stiff and doesn't roll as well as other toys. Can't wait to see it this last longer than others - after about 3 months of other toys, she's usually chewed thru them. Size is good. A little heavier than I like but that could be good for longevity! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My dog is a 75 pound Pitbull mix and the heaviest chewer I've ever had. I can't even count the number of "indestructible" dog toys she has turned to confetti in 10 minutes or less. I've had this for several weeks now and she absolutely loves it. We use it for fetch, tug-o-war, and she will even lay in her bed and just chew on it like a teething toy for 20-30 minutes at a time. It has been her go-to toy since the day it arrived. Despite all that heavy use, it still looks brand new. There's not a single chunk gone or tear in it. I'm absolutely amazed at the durability of this toy! Only slight drawback: it had a fairly strong rubbery smell when it first arrived, but it faded pretty quickly and I don't notice any smell from it anymore unless I put it right up to my nose. It's a small price to pay to have finally found a toy that my dog absolutely loves that is safe for her teeth and will also hold up well to the abuse she puts toys through. I'm definitely going to have to look for other toys from this company that are made of the same material. I can't recommend it highly enough!! ... show more

Soft but chewy. Xander is an active chewer not really an aggressive one. You can throw it but it doesn’t float like a frisbee. It has become X’s favorite toy.

The media could not be loaded. My dog Margo really liked this toy, but unfortunately it didn’t hold up very long. After about 6 hours of normal play and chewing, she was able to chew completely through the material and break part of the toy off. She isn’t an extreme destroyer of toys, but she does enjoy chewing and tugging. Based on the product description, I expected the material to be a lot tougher than it turned out to be. The design is nice and she was definitely interested in it, but the durability just wasn’t what I expected. If your dog is a light chewer it may work fine, but for dogs that like to chew, it may not last long. Photos attached show the damage after the first day. ... show more
