Then, vacuum and repeat as needed. It's important that you also air the product out as much as possible., We do not recommend applying liquids to the product. This is a very comfortable and supportive mattress. We had a Brentwood Home Cypress Mattress before in a smaller size and loved it but they don't make it anymore. There is basically no motion transfer, so one person moving does not wake the other person up. We let it decompress in a spare room for a day or two before sleeping on it. It did not have any residual smells and did not set off our Air Doctor. Also, it was a manageable weight for two people when moving. We tried the Avocado Green Hybrid pillow top and were not comfortable on that at all. My only complaint is it took 3 weeks to get it. If you are in the market for a new mattress, this is it! After losing some weight, (from about 250lbs to 200lbs) my old, firm memory foam mattress had me waking up with moderate to severe hip pain every morning. I was nervous about spending this much on a mattress in a box, but was pretty impressed by what I read about it, both from users and on Consumer Reports. Finally, after about a month of debating, I took the plunge and ordered. On arrival, I opened it up on the floor and let it set up for a little over 24 hours before sleeping in it. I'd read some reports of odors when the mattress was just opened, but detected none whatsoever, myself. One week in, I feel comfortable saying that this mattress is worth every penny I paid for it. This is the 4th Tuft and Needle mint mattress I have purchased. I bought the first one for myself, the second one was for my son, the third for my mother at my vacation cabin and the fourth for myself at the vacation cabin This mattress is awesome. I sleep great. When I wake up there are no aches or pains from it. I have had the first mattress for over a year now and there are no issues what so ever. My son who is a larger soul has been sleeping on his for more than a year now as well. Big mistake buying him this as he now never gets out of bed. He is a teenager and this was just an enabling device for him to stay in bed. My fiancée has a Tempurpedic purchased 10 years ago for 4 grand and he prefers my mattress.     • Very different feel from my plush memory foam mattress, but still a good mattress
This is an update to my review below now that I have slept on it for a week. It is comfortable, sleeps cool, and I feel good with no back pain in the morning. Overall a good product if you don't want that memory foam feel. The only reason I deducted one star is because I prefer the feel of a memory foam mattress, but that is just a personal preference. I'll give it a few more weeks before deciding whether I want to return and get a memory foam mattress or just keep it. I had a plush 13" memory foam mattress for 14 years. I loved it for 13 years, but during the last year it was sagging, and I would wake up sore. T&N Mint has excellent reviews here, so I decided to give it a try, since it has a 100 day trial period. The quality appears very good and it was very well packed, but it is a very different experience than my memory foam mattress that I loved. I feel like I sleep on top of this mattress instead of in it. I also don't feel like it envelops my body like the memory foam did. I much prefer the feel of memory foam, however, I'm going to give it 30 days like they recommend and then make my final decision. I will also update this review to provide feedback for those that are coming from a plush memory foam mattress. ... show more

Amazing! I struggled with back pain every morning until we started sleeping on this awesome mattress. The king is amazing for my husband and I. I'm 5'11" and he is 6'1". I haven't had a single back issue since we started sleeping on it a week ago. The mattress is firm yet molds to your body. I run pretty hot since having kids. This bed has kept me cool every night since we got it. The only negative I can see is that this thing will be a bear to move if we relocate. Otherwise, it's just amazing and worth every penny.
