We bought our first Tuff Pupper dog collar a few years ago for our golden retriever and loved it so much that we just got another one for our new puppy. The collar size is adjustable, we got the medium size for our 1 year old golden and it has grown with him. He is now 3 and this collar still fits perfectly. These collars are heavy-duty, not too heavy, bright, and stay in place no matter what. The colors are bright enough to catch attention. The bungee stretch handle is a great feature—it gives you extra control whether your dog is on or off-leash. A nice sturdy collar, I like that there's a handle you can grasp that's elastic and won't hurt the dog. Only thing I don't like is that the ring to latch the leash to is a little too small, it's hard to get the leash attached, that's why I have it 4 starts instead of 5. Other than that it's great.

I have a large dog. The plastic Clips on collars and harnesses terrifies me. I have experienced a break on both a harness and a collar. I needed something that was an actual buckle. Just call her fulfills all of that and it's handy I can grab it and use it to keep him on a short leash. I love this collar! I wanted a collar with a handle, but I did not want it to be a hard stand-up handle. This bungee handle lays flat on the collar but is still easy to use. My dog likes to run through the woods, and I did not want the handle to get caught on anything. Also, I wanted to put an air tag on the collar, but I did not want it to be seen. If someone took my dog, I did not want them to see the air tag and throw the collar away. By attaching the waterproof screw-on air-tag holder to the main collar under the bungee handle, the air tag cannot be seen. This also protects the holder from bumps and scrapes as my dog runs through the woods. ... show more

The color is good since it’s bright, so very visible. I was a little disappointed in the build. While the handle can be convenient, it also gets in the way if you have to attach a cone.
