This is actually a very solid e-bike that ticks all my expectations. The appearance is top-notch, and it took me about 2 hours to assemble. I have always wanted a bike with long-lasting battery life, and this is one of the best. I bought the first one in June but unfortunately lost it within six days. I bought this second one about 3 weeks ago, and it has been nothing short of an amazing experience. It’s really fun to use. I usually tell my friends that this bike is sweeter than some relationships. 😂 I came back to leave this review because I know someone will find it very useful. The speed, balance, and brakes are everything I needed. The only suggestion I have is to see if there is a way to design the bike with a built-in neck lock that would make it much harder to steal without needing an external lock. Aside from that recommendation, which I don’t think other products have yet, this is an excellent product, and I highly recommend it. ... show more

I was skeptical at first on ordering a bike this cheap versus the $3,000+ ones. The installation was super easy with all the tools required in the kit. Tons of videos online to watch as well. It’s a stylish look and MUCH TALLER than I anticipated. In mode 3, I got a top speed of 28mph. For context, I am 6’2” and 265lbs. Overall I am very pleased. I haven’t tested out the full range but battery seems to hold a charge well and get good mileage! The only thing is uphills you notice a drastic power decrease. I fell in love with this e-bike the moment I first got it and that feeling has only grown stronger over time! The ride is smooth, powerful, and incredibly fun, whether I’m commuting around town or just cruising for enjoyment. The motor provides plenty of power for hills and longer rides, and the battery life has been more than enough for my daily needs. It strikes a great balance between speed, control, and efficiency. I did run into a small issue early on with the tire and tube, but TST’s customer support handled it right away. Perfect fun e-bike for daily rides and weekend trips!

So far I’d give this a collective 1 star. Plus a 1 star for Amazon the box looked like the driver drug it behind it. Product arrived with missing parts. Poor quality all the threads had to be cleaned of metal shavings. The seat holes are also not aligned so only 1 of the 4 bolts threads. Finally the pedals are unmountable I spent 20 min on one side and wd40 for encouragement with the threads never taking If any of this gets resolved would change the stars but as it sits today avoid this please for your own sake Update. Upgrading 2 stars working with company to get missing pieces was smooth this bike is exactly priced for what it is ... show more

Bought this TST R9 a few days ago, setup wasn't too long or complicated. I think it took 2 hrs but I did it pretty slowly while watching tv. Today, I took it out despite being chilly and windy. Went about 15 miles to break it in 3 out of 5 bars left when I got home, was a really fun first ebike experience, I'm hooked now! climbed some Joliet hills with ease which I always dreaded with my mountain n road bike. For $750 out the door im happy with its performance, it doesn't feel cheap at all, brakes work fine, damn thing wants to wheely off the rip so ya gotta be careful. Tires are grippy when I went on a wet gravel/dirt trail for a couple miles. For reference im 5'9" 190lbs, fits really good. I'll update the review as time/miles goes on. Overall, very happy with this purchase and super stoked to add some accessories to this fun new hobby :D ... show more

I got this E-Bike about a week ago now and I absolutely love it. Putting the bike together didnt take that long it was fairly straight forward especially if you've put together any E-Bikes or bike before. The bike is very comfortable to ride over long distances and the battery life has been awesome so far. I was confused on why I could only get the bike up to 21mph in mode 5 because it said the top speed was 28mph. But I learned that in order to get it up to that speed you must unlock it through the controller. I watched a YouTube video on how to unlock it and I did exactly what the guy did in the video and what do ya know it worked! This bike does NOT feel cheaply made, its definitely solid. The frame, the seat, the tires, the brakes, handle bars, everything on this bike feels like its built to last. I love having the 20" fat tires on a bike, to me it makes such a difference when riding off road or going up steel hills. The bike has a 500lbs max load capacity which is amazing especially if you plan on have someone riding on the bike with you. Im 6' and 200lbs and my 14 year old daughter rides on it with me with no issues. I do like that it comes with a "back seat" and pegs for someone to ride on it with you and be comfortable also. I use an E-Bike as my daily driver, I ride it no matter the weather, I ride if its raining, snowing or storming so far this bike has not disappointed. I got this in July so we will have to wait and see on how it handles in the snow in a couple months. I had a Ridstar Q20 before I got this bike and I had it for 4 years and literally rode that bike year round in every weather condition and had 0 major issues, just minor maintenance. But one day it just died on me. So in comparisons to the Ridstar Q20 I would say the TST R9 is definitely a solid E-Bike for beginners or experienced E-Bike riders. CON- The one problem I had with this bike was the headlight, it did not work out the box. I tried every thing I could to try and get it to work but sadly I couldn't. I contacted customer service and they told me to send a bunch of pictures from every angle of every detail which I did but I have not heard back from them since I did. I do wish they would have included a manual or something to tell and show the buyer how to unlock the Max speed of the bike as well as how to access the app. So if your looking for a E-Bike that isnt going to break your bank account and that is solid, id absolutely recommend the TST R9 100% ... show more
