I purchased this collar for my 11year old dog. I was looking for something durable, yet comfortable. We hike regularly, and spend a lot of time outdoors, width of the collar was very important as to not cause direct pressure or pinching if he were to pull ahead while on our adventures. The inner padding is very soft and he does not appear uncomfortable when he wears it. The structure is strong and well made. The green is beautiful, and looks great with his fur. The only downside to this collar is that it does not have a reflective stitching. He and I regularly walk at night. I do have a reflective leash for that, but few that a collar would offer additional reflection for upcoming drivers/vehicles. If he were to ever get out/lost at night with only his collar, it could potentially be dangerous. I will be looking for something to attach to his collar for additional safety measures. If your pet is not at risk of escaping, and/or has a good recall, the lack of reflective material should be no big deal. Overall, it is a great collar. I am very pleased with the purchase.
