While we always recommend testing multiple wicks so that you can find the best match for your formulation, the ECO 10 and CD 14 (now called Stabilo) are great wicks for the 8oz tins. For 4oz tins, we recommend downsizing accordingly. If I want to use three wicks with the new wide 16oz candle tins, what wicks should I use? When working with a soy based wax, we recommend using three CD-12 (or similar) wicks. Can I use them with soy wax? Yes, definitely! While they do work with virtually all kind of waxes, our candle tins are specifically designed to work well with soft waxes, including soy wax.
