I tried buying pre-cut keys first, but even though the code was right, they didn't work. No way to know if it was the keys cut wrong or the old lock. It wasn't that big of a deal tondrill out the rivets and I already had a rivet gun and rivets, so it went pretty quick and easy. This product was easy to install. Took about 5 to 8 minutes to take old lock out and put new lock in. Put this lock on truck toolbox. Keys kept breaking in old lock, so I decided to get a new one. Fit perfectly and works like it should.
