Please note: This system is designed to replace your factory OEM exhaust starting from the inlet of the muffler. If your exhaust has been replaced or modified previously, fabrication to the existing exhaust on your truck may be necessary for the proper installation of our kit. Trucks with modified suspension or body lifts may also require fabrication of the exhaust or truck for the proper installation of our kit. THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE "DO IT YOURSELF" kit. It is recommended that this kit be installed by a professional. Fabrication may be required. Any type of suspension or wheel/tire modifications may affect system clearances. We do NOT include any portion of the exhaust in front of the muffler. Additional parts or fabrication will likely be required.

Updated 12)25 - 3 months on the happy trails, still rockin' this exhaust system. No leaks, no rust and no rattles. Haven't shortened the tips yet, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Perfect fit on my 2014 GMC 1500, Double Cab 5.3. with a 9" lift. The angle of the pipes exiting off the frame rails hides the pipes, so this set is perfect for a lifted truck. Only had to cut about 3" off the driver's side. Probably will cut another couple inches off because my tips are a bit too long, but that's the Joy of clamping. It can be adjusted 🤙 ... show more

Was nervous buying a kit without a lot of reviews but after bringing it in to get professionally installed the mechanic said it was one of the best fitting kits he put on a truck before without having to do extra cutting or bending of the pipes to make it fit. Kept all 3 factory cats and it sounds good. Went with 6 inch tips to make it look ridiculous as it sounds. 10/10 except the installation manual diagram showed a flowmaster 40 series (longer and less loud exhaust) but the super 10 was in the box. ... show more

Was this kit worth the price for a DIY'er to install? Shortest answer is yes. BUT, let me tell you this is a total pain in the tail to install and some simple markings by the manufacturer would have made this much much easier to install. The kit seems to be manufactured well and the finished product sounds good and looks like exhaust pipes so its good too I guess. All the pieces are in one box and it's up to you to figure out what goes where. It's not insanely difficult but it does take some knowledge and a lot of referencing the pictures. nice you figure that out it fits great. I would recommend welding over using the useless clamps that come in the kit. It seems to be of good enough quality that it will last for a while. I did also add A-KARCK Exhaust tips that go from 3" inlet to a 6" outlet that are bolt on. Exhaust tips will affect the sound of the exhaust. Typically larger tips like these give a lower tone which is what was wanted on this truck. ... show more

2012 gmc sierra 5.3. Pros...Quality good. Good instructions/labeling. Sounds nice. Cons...Did require some cutting and piecing to fit perfectly for my application. Did not come with the 2.5" to 3" reducer for the inlet connection.
