  • New Eyes make a difference
Style: HLA87859
These headlights were a perfect fit for my 2004 Toyota tacoma. They truly highlight the truck and was easy to install making it a great update to the truck. They are definitely worth the buy! The brightness is awesome highlighting the whole road and surrounding areas making it great when driving on dark roads. I am thinking about buying it for 2013 Tacoma. ... show more

  • Excellent OEM replacement housings per the usual with TRQ Excellent OEM replacement housings per the usual with TRQ
Style: HLA95295
My factory headlights were getting pretty wore out and despite several tries at refurbing them through the years they finally got to where sanding, polishing, and sealing was no longer working right. So with the prospect of needing to replace them I started looking at getting a new set. Seeing the OEM GM housing costs and having my eyes water, I went through researching aftermarket options. Most have terrible reviews with condensation, cracking, or fading plastic so it was looking like I was going to have to pay through the nose for a set of OEM lights. Then I remembered on my old Silverado I went TRQ years ago for a set of replacements and they lasted and never gave me any issues. With that in mind I pulled the trigger on this set. Out of the box (which props to the care taken on packing these housings in the boxes), these look just as well constructed as the factory housings. Plastics feel quality and not brittle or cheap and the wires seem like silicone insulated wire making them quite flexible and likely more heat resistant. Fitment follows as well with them lining up perfectly with little fiddling needed to get them to follow the body lines and the plugs going in with no trouble. I did try them with the halogen bulbs they came with and they do work quite well, however I have a quality set of LED high and low bulbs so I dropped those in as shown in the pictures. Overall these are great housings and for the price an absolute steal of a deal. Given the issues with the other aftermarket housings (and that most don't include bulbs or wiring anyway) don't even bother with them and get these. Now mind I've had these less than a day at the moment and my review is just based on initial reactions, but I'll report back in a year if I have any issues or items of note. ... show more

  • Clear and simple upgrade
They arrived in perfect shape. Purchased as a gift for someone’s auto repair. They fit perfectly on the 2004 Pontiac Grand Am-v6. Old ones were foggy. These ones are perfectly clear. They came with bulbs so that was an additional benefit. Thank you so much!

  • Make sure you can adjust these BEFORE you install them!
Style: HLA87920
I have a 2015 Dodge Challenger, and bought it new. The last couple of years, a warning display would come on the dash, saying that the right front turn signal is out. Well, I would check, and it would flash, so obviously that wasn't the issue. I had it to the dealer TWICE, and both times the said that I needed a new headlight assembly on the right side, that also contains the turn signal light. New Mopar assemblies are over $800 EACH, and you have to return the cores. So, after talking to a few aftermarket people, they said that this company had very few returns, vs other companies, and when I found these, being a pair, costing more than half the cost of just ONE OEM assembly, I bought them. Here's the problem though. To replace these assemblies, the WHOLE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY HAS TO COME OFF! Luckily, my buddy's kid (who works in a body shop), came over to help me. I watched a YouTube video a couple of times, and except for two nuts that have to come off on the inside of the fender, it wasn't that bad. My buddy's kid is used to taking those off, so that was his job! Anyway, the whole thing only took us like 1.5 hours, start to finish. Now here's what pissed me off: After he left, I assumed that the lights were pretty much adjusted from the manufacturer, but oh boy! Was I wrong! The wife left for work early in the morning, and called me to say that the lights are WAY TOO LOW! I told her to run with the high beams on, so she could see, and was getting flashed by oncoming cars. So when I got home, I tried turning them up. The right side wouldn't turn up at all, but would go down. And, no matter how high I raised the left side, it hardly went up! Boy, was I pissed! So of course, when you try contacting the company, all you get is some foreigner from Amazon customer service, who is worthless. I had to play the "message" game with the manufacturer, through Amazon, which literally took days for them to send me another pair. Luckily we have another vehicle that my wife can drive, because the car sat for almost two weeks, as I was waiting for my buddy's kid to come back over and help me. But this time, I wised up. I had a tall piece of cardboard, and when we took off the assemblies, we put the OEM ones back in, and I drew a line on the cardboard, to the level of the lights. So when we put the replacement set in, I adjusted the left side, with no problem, but the right side acted like the other one we originally put on! He took it off and I could actually move it in and out! He looked at it, and said that the adjuster wasn't seated properly. He was able to get his hand inside, and "pop" it into place! Now I could turn it up. What made me mad, is the fact that that's what was wrong with the first set! If we knew that in the beginning, we wouldn't have had to do this twice! So, the moral of this very long winded story, is if you buy these assemblies, make sure that the adjuster works properly, BEFORE you install them! ... show more
