I had another A1 (non-MIPs) that I got ~4 years ago. It's worked very well for me. I have a large oblong head and wear a XL-XXL which fits me perfectly. I recently broke the visor on the old one and it was getting rather tatty so with the great price on this new MIPs version, I got it. It fits the same. Ventilation is good. This helmet is comfortable and fits very well. You can't go wrong if you purchase it. My only issue is the helmet runs large. I had to send the 1st one back because it was to big.

I have used Smith and Bell helmets for nearly a decade. This is my first Troy Lee helmet. It is the most comfortable MTB helmet I have ever worn. Not tight spots, fits snug and doesn't move around like the Smith helmet did. Best thing of all?? The price of this helmet.Can't get a better helmet for the price.Looks good too. ... show more
