    • Quality Control - Current Helmets Do Not Hold a Charge and Camera Will Not Record.

I've owned and used all 3 different Kracess helmets and this model is by far the best. The previous version of this helmet is more rounded and I don't think available anymore. The next generation M2 helmet has a better quality camera, but some serious design flaws and I do not recommend it at all. Pros -Extremely comfortable, probably the most comfortable helmet I've ever had. -Provides excellent protection, it definitely has saved me from what would have been 3 concussions along with scalp lacerations or worse. -Excellent functionality. Power and function buttons are easy to use. BT speakers/mic provide decent sound quality without blocking out ambient noise. Visor stays attached but comes off easily. Camera is super easy to use, but is more of a dash cam quality and not really good for high res vlogs, etc. Rear light is a nice touch. I don't use the turn signals as I find it kind of pointless. -Airflow is decent enough that you don't feel hot and the overall weight is light but provides excellent protection. Cons -Not the cheapest helmet, price ranges from $100-160 depending. But worth the price IMO. -This last batch I ordered in 2025 had some serious quality control issues. When I ordered originally in 2023 I had no issue. This time I had three defective helmets shipped. First one the camera would not turn on at all. Second one the visor would not attach, they didn't install the helmet magnets. Third one the camera turned on, then next day did not. Then it finally did turn on and recorded, but later that day it would not power on. Hopefully the 4th one will work properly, if not, I'm moving on to a new helmet. If the quality control issues didn't happen it would be 5 stars. But I've had to return 3 helmets. I've ordered two of these helmets and both have been defective there is no customer service or support I keep wanting just to get this helmet exchanged and there is no one to contact for that.

The helmet is comfortable, good sound system, was able to answer phone calls. Good feature it says the phone number prior to you answering. The ear flaps are a plus. The only thing is turning the camera on. Sometimes it comes on and others it does not. Once one the photos are ok.

So far I've had two of these helmets and have had the same problem with both. The first one it became increasingly difficult to turn the camera on until you just couldn't. I got it replaced through Amazon and with the replacement I immediately have the same problem. The camera won't turn on. The Bluetooth and the turn signals work fine but that's not why I bought it. The camera doesn't work. Brand new out of the box I've managed to turn it on once. Also worth noting, the magnets that hold the visor on could be much stronger. Any little bump or nudge and it pops right off. And I would advise some sort of protective film, the visor scratches up very, very easily. Still not sure if I want to try a 3rd helmet just to have the same issue again but with the experience I've had I could not recommend. ... show more
