    • GOOD HELMET BUT THE VISOR WAS BROKE/UNABLE TO ATTACH
STURDY, COMFORTABLE AND GOOD VALUE. COMPANY NEEDS TO REVISE THE HELMETS VISOR DESIGN BECAUSE MINE WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTACH AND CAME LOOSE/OFF DURING A SPEEDY CYCLE RUN. THAT WAS A TAD DANGEROUS AS IT OBSTRUCTED MY VIEW TEMPERARELY. GOOD THING I HAVE QUICK REFLEXES TO STOP AND ADJUST. WOOD GLUE RIGGED IT INTO PLACE BUT FOR WHAT I PAID. Some reviews mentioned some trouble attaching the visor, but we had no trouble after following the advice to put the center pin in first. Have to say that the pieces don't line up absolutely perfectly but it is nothing you would notice. The visor is longer than the one on most helmets, which is great for keeping the sun out of your eyes. It also looks good. The helmet contains lots of air vents, which is great, and the vents are not just holes but contain netting which will keep bugs out. You can make the helmet looser or tighter simply by twisting the knob which is also a light in the back. This is very convenient. What is not convenient is that the space between the back bottom of the helmet and the light is not large enough to get hair through to keep it off your neck, and the light is far down enough that you have to use a very skinny rubber band in order to make a ponytail under it, and that ponytail may be slightly lower than you would like. The helmet is not shiny, whereas most bicycles are, so this helmet is not likely to completely match your bicycle. That said, it is advertised as matte, or not shiny, and the advantage to that is that the person riding behind you will not suffer from glare from your helmet. The important thing is that you don't notice it once it's on and it keeps you safe. ... show more

Short and sweet review. In the picture the new helmet to the left and the old helmet to the right. As the old one had plenty of use but never felt just quite right so in came this new one. Initial reactions are good, it's sturdy, comfortable, and the little light is a nice touch. Not had a solid ride to govern it's feel after a hour or so. Things can feel different once your out and about but I'm hopeful. Color option matched up well with my bike. All in all as it was caught on sale for 40 bucks and arrived pronto so that's a win no doubt. ... show more
