"Red leader checking in..." Bought this helmet after wiping out on my ebike doing 20 mph coming back from fishing. Fits good even on my big head that I have problems finding hats to fit. Light on the back is big and glows pretty bright. The visor keeps the wind and sun out of my face, I just wish you could flip it up when you don't need it when it's getting dark or cloudy. Finally, a bike helmet I actually feel good about wearing! Here’s all you need to know before you buy: Pros 👍👍👍 - Looks are subjective but I really like how this helmet looks. Dare I say it looks cool 😅 - Lightweight: I’ve taken mine on a couple of rides, 2-3 hours each, and was very comfortable. - Well Vented: optimal air flow - Magnetic Goggles: Often times, I end up riding along bodies of water and have to cut through swarms of mosquitos and other flying insects! The detachable goggles feature is essential for me. I’ve already bought a set of clear replacement goggles to swap for low light rides. - Visor: Attaches securely but is designed to break off in case of a direct impact. - Size: It comes in 3 sizes (S, M, L). Each has a knob to adjust and make sure it fits snugly on your noggin 😜 - Quick Release Buckle: Clicky, Secure, Adjustable and well Padded! - Built-in Rechargeable LED Light: More visibility for added safety. It takes up to 90 mins to fully charge and up to 12 hours of use depending on mode. Cons 👎👎👎 - Glare: I’m not sure if I got a lemon or if this happens to others but the goggles that came with my helmet produced blinding glare in direct sunlight! That’s actually my main complaint. - Choice: I wish the listing let you choose what shade goggles to get. Add this to the suggestion box! - Micro USB Charging: I know it’s a cost saving measure but I wish it charged via USB-C. - LED Light is non-removable/replaceable. Maybe in the next iteration! My Recommendation 🧐 I’ve always enjoyed riding my bike and for the longest time, I rode without a helmet. Until I smashed my head on the sidewalk in a freak accident. In the past, I have gone with well known brands for bicycle accessories, but this helmet's design was very well thought out; and for the price it's very competitive with more expensive brand name helmets. I'm also in agreement with the positive reviews I've read. So for me, the visor is very convenient and works great; even if you wear glasses. I just purchased an eBike, so the visor is nice to have traveling at higher speeds. The light may not be super bright, but if you're riding (commuting) at night, you most likely have other more serious lights on your bike; this just adds to your overall safety and visibility. The one outstanding feature for me personally was the fit. I don't think I've ever worn a helmet as comfortable, secure and well fitted for my head. There are no stick-on foam pads... because it's not necessary. Overall, great design and comfort. I definitely recommend this helmet. ... show more

Great inexpensive helmet with a shade that I can wear my glasses under. I purchased as the colors match my bike perfectly. Light weight, adjustable and comfortable, Someday I will remember to turn on the light. The shade is held on by 3 magnets and holds well. As an avid bikepacker and mountain biker I rely on my helmet for safety. This helmet replaced a top of the line name brand and the VicGoal helmet is considerably more comfortable, easier to adjust, with top of the line features at a very affordable price point. The magnetic visor attaches quickly, easily and without fuss and it doesn't fall off. An excellent design and thoughtfully engineered for rider comfort and safety. I could not be more pleased. And interesting note, my name brand helmet would whistle and hiss at high speed which was very annoying, this helmet is dead silent. Fits well, really like the light on the back of the helmet. Size adjustment so you can wear a beanie hat underneath when it gets colder. Beanie hat meaning thin cotton to cover your ears not a full wool type. Charges quick, use whatever charger I have laying around. The visor is great with the magnetic attachment. The visor works well on a drop bar road bike but on a TT/Tri bike you really have to strain your neck to get high enough to actually see where you’re going. Have been up to 40mph with the visor and it remains in place. I feel the visor is more comfortable than wearing glasses. I do with they offered a clear or maybe even a yellow for low light conditions. Very happy with the helmet. ... show more
