The directions are only pictures but as long as you have a very basic understanding of putting things together…they’r not needed. I saw a few reviews that it was difficult to put together and honestly I didn’t see it that way. It went together quick and I worked alone. Only thing that I can see that would be a PITA is if you have big hands and fingers. The nut caps that go in the bolts that hold the front and back to the sides are small and theres maybe 1’4” between the nut and the wood. Also they dont give you much of the bolt to thread the nut too AT ALL. Your best bet is to grip the nut - you can use needle nose pliers if need be - and use a screw gun to tighten it up. Pros-Quick assembly. Cons- not very sturdy. Size is much smaller than expected. I small piece wood broken and another split with screw. I bought this to add some room to a chicken coop, and it will work for that. Not sure I'd put a 70 lb. dog in like the description reads.

Very well constructed, good quality wood, and easy to assemble. Unfortunately though, our 35 pound dog wasn’t using it, so we donated it to our local home-based dog sitting business. She was thrilled to receive it. (Medium)

As some others have mentioned, the handling during shipping seems to be the biggest toss up. You can get a few pieces broken or entire panels destroyed. My experience was a bit better than some other but not perfect. The top wooden piece that goes on the roof was cracked, however it was salvageable so I fixed the crack with clear window silicone. Assembly: Too easy. This thing came in a about 6 pieces and just required a few screws and a couple of bolts that were provided. Modification: I ended up taking apart the front as shown in the picture and removing 4 or 5 slats from each side of the door. I also had to cut the door trim high enough so that the top of the automower could clear the door. Additionally, I took the cross member that normally goes on the bottom and moved it to the top of the opening to provide extra support. I also did not use the floor and just put it aside. It was very easy to modify this and I high suggest using this as a mower shed. As a bonus I bought the vinyl flaps and installed them to the front of the door to provide just a little bit more protection from the elements. ... show more

i really like it, easy to set up. the roof beam did come destroyed, with nothing else in the box damaged which i assume was packaged like that considering it was literally in pieces wrapped in plastic and everything else was totally fine. amazon is sending a new box and i’ll swap out parts and send it back. overall i’m happy with the product ... show more
