  • An Incredible Multipurpose Device
One of my biggest troubles when working in I.T is trying to run ethernet cables through the wall with next to no visibility. We use long flexible rods to try and 'fish' the wires through the wall, though the holes are often drilled though studs that are an absolute nightmare to work around. This device has saved me so much headache, and on top of being extremely useful for me it feels incredibly cool to use. The case it comes in is real heavy duty, making carting this device around simple and professional. The size of the screen is absolutely perfect, and gives you a clear view of what the camera is seeing. The display also has a kickstand, freeing up your hands to perform your work. The cable is flexible yet solid, easy to bend when needed but firm enough to hold it's shape. There is a toggleable light on the end of the cable as well as three cameras that can be used to get a full picture of what's around. This device can also save video to an included memory card for later review. I am extremely happy to have this device in my I.T arsenal and I couldn't recommend it more for people who who work in this field and do frequent ethernet cable runs. ... show more

  • 3.8 stars, price is quite high at 300, functions great, easy to use, well made
Well to start with the case it comes in is quite nice. It would be really nice to have seen some water-resistant or waterproof gasket around the edge though. Still it’s a rugged feeling case with a ton of padding inside. It is way more than enough to keep this thing safe. It is clearly targeting pro-sumer or light industrial levels and it does well at it. Just like other gear I’ve used from Teslong, I’m not really disappointed! My main complaint is the price, it’s kind of high even for this level of device. There are quite a few other offerings sub two-fifty. At two hundred it would be amazing. Generally the device itself is well laid out and easy to use. Only a couple of controls seem a bit odd at first, but once you know it’s fine (like press and hold record to change cameras). I’m not sure if the unit itself is rated for IP67, but it does have really nice rubber covers over the HDMI out port and over the microSD slot and USB C port. The screw-on kickstand/holding bracket is nicely made aluminum and has a good rubber foot on the bottom. And the two lanyard mount points are very solid, yet there’s no included lanyard. I had no issues configuring anything or attaching the hook or magnet accessories. The downside to these accessories is they thread on nicely, but there’s not much tension and I feel like it would be too easy for them to become loose during use, time will tell. Maybe they should have had a bit of Nylon inserted or something. Either way they will probably get at least a few jobs done. The image quality is about what I’d expect from Teslong, it’s pretty good. The focal range for each camera appears to match what is advertised as well. There is a thing here that annoyed me, I cannot see a way to view both A and B cameras at the same time. Cycling the views goes, A, B, C, AB, AC. How about a BC? It’s a minor quibble, but would have been nice. Overall it’s a great unit, my main reason for reduced rating is the current price near three hundred. ... show more

  • Very high quality, triple cameras with lights to see everything
Pro’s: ~High quality parts ~Three cameras all with lights ~7” HD display ~Hard carry case for easy storage and travel ~Easy to assemble and operate ~Display has a kickstand ~Memory card included ~Picture and video camera ~Free app Con’s: ~A little hard to use with one person The Triple Lens Borescope made by Teslong is a heavy duty camera system designed to snake down into hard to reach areas to not only visually see but to also take pictures or video if needed. Highly used in the auto industry for car mechanics, this tool helps technicians see in the engine cavity when there is no other way to put eyes on engine parts. The borescope can however be used for any purpose where you are unable to see and reach something due to compact environments. The Teslong borescope comes in a very large hard plastic case with excellent padded walls to protect the unit when packed away. In the package, you get the main display unit, the 16.5’ camera probe, USB charging cable, instructions, Memory card, and a couple of other small accessories. Assembly: Putting the Borescope together is quick and easy. It is charged by a USB-C port and takes about 2-3 hours to charge. Once charged, you screw on the camera probe and it’s ready to power on and use. Use: Using the Borescope is a bit challenging for one person because the probe is so stiff that while trying to bend and maneuver the probe, the entire display unit starts to move around. Having two people, one to hold the display and the other to feed the probe is much easier. All of the equipment feels very high quality. The probe is made of metal and the display unit is very heavy duty. It can switch from camera mode to video mode to library mode where you can view your pictures or videos. You can also download a free app from the App Store to save the photos and videos to your phone. The unit comes with a code to remove all ads so once you download the app and create a login, you can scan this code and use the app ad free. One downfall to the app is you need to connect your phone directly to the borescope via Wifi and you must use the phone from there. The main display will no longer work until you disconnect the phone again. When your phone is connected to the borescope, you can no longer use the internet until you disconnect. The phone app is a nice idea, but with the 7” display built in and the memory card, I do not see a need to use this device with an app. Conclusion: The video quality is pretty good but the pictures are pretty fuzzy. Overall I am happy with the Teslong borescope. It is very easy to use and with the carrying case, very easy to store and travel with. If you are a mechanic and need to snake a camera into hard to see places, this device will be very helpful. ... show more
