  • I really like this optic
Style: Lower 1/3 Co-Witness Mount
I have to say I find no issues with the Trijicon MRO 2.0 MOA Adjustable Green Dot at all. I really like this optic. It is fairly low profile with the height comparable to some others but it seems narrower that others. So far I have 16 months behind it and the battery and dot are still strong. I would suggest this sight to annyone. Now with that said I will comment that with rececent lasix eye surgery just a few weeks old the green dot on settings above 2 and 3 are quite bright and presenting a very strong halo of rings and starbursts. This is difficult to explain if yuou haven't been through eye surgery. Running on settings 1 - 3 work just fine. I'm still happy with it and will be putting one on another system. ... show more

  • Trijicon quality
Style: Levered QR Full Co-Witness Mount
This is my second one for a different rifle..loved the first so figured I'd get another but this time try the green...extremely well made as expected with this brand and price...I think I love the green so much more than the red it's just easier to see for me very bright...many settings for brightness..the quickdetatch mount seems very durable and the co witness is perfect with a fixed frontsight gas block on ar15. ... show more

  • Unacceptable from Trijicon- first impressions good, in the field horrible
Style: Lower 1/3 Co-Witness Mount
I’ll make this as short as I can. Initial impressions were good, it’s made by trijicon, good housing, decent mount and that’s the only positives I can think of. If you use this optic for anything more then bench shooting/ plinking this thing is worthless. I really wanted to like this and give this thing a chance but after having this since 2018 it just unusable. 1- the parallax on this thing is aweful. For the longest time I wasn’t understanding how I was missing shots in awkward or various positions. After a few misses I’d take a more precise shot, make the hit and then just think it was me. After some research it’s clear it wasn’t. All red dots will have some parallax. I literally put it side by side with a holosun 403 and it is night and day difference. Holosun was practically nothing. Yes, the fov is more in the mro hence more parallax but it shouldn’t matter, that’s a hug problem. 2- green illumination- this is just me and may not be for you, but my eye does not pick up green better then red. Ymmv. However the problem with green is a few things. The battery life is only a year on the 3 setting compared to 5 with their red dot versions. That’s horrible compared to the rest of the market. The 3 setting is basically worthless, 4 at the minimum. 3 it’ll wash out with any white light or normal day time conditions. 3- bzo and the dot itself. Now technically you are suppose to be threat focused with a red dot. But obviously to bzo you need to take a target shooting style shot to make it as accurate as possible. The illuminator is multiple dots when you stare at the dot itself which makes sighting your rifle in difficult. So do I just pick a random dot inside of the dot? Aimpoints, holosun ect they all do this but they aren’t as bad. 4 lastly and worst of all the magnification. Dude… it’s bad. So bad that looking at a target with two eyes at 10 yards you're seeing two targets on one. A sig Romeo doesn’t even do that. Anyways for something thats 500 bucks from trijicon this is unacceptable. I love trijicon, love the company, but for the price, and these problems the optic is virtually unusable. Go with a holosun, at this point there 7076 versions (515) are honestly close to aimpoint status. Update- I spoke to Trijicon, these “older” MRO’s will have these problems and is normal. I sent it in and everything is in spec. They made the HD to try and correct the issues. Watch Hop on YouTube and he explains it more. All of his issues are mine. At least he was able to get a new one. I’m stuck with this. So frustrating. Money wasted. A worthless optic. ... show more

  • This is a real green Trijicon MRO despite other reviews.
Style: No Mount
Many people have left reviews saying they think these green MROs are not genuine. They list many reasons most of which are totally bogus. Yes, the front element is not flat and appears to be cross threaded. That is the way these, and most all red dots, work. The LED is at the top corner of the tube and the front element has to reflect it to appear centered in the optic. I have compared this one to several red MROs I already had. It is exactly the same other than the color of the dot, the tint of the front glass coating being pale green instead of red, and the box now has a cheap looking red plastic latch instead of black like the older Trijicon boxes. I checked with several authorized dealer’s websites and the red latch is totally correct for the newer MROs. The price has gone up significantly in the few weeks since I purchased mine, but the item is definitely genuine and I felt someone needed to correct all the bad reviews based on incorrect information. ... show more

  • A “Status” optic, but it does the job
Style: Lower 1/3 Co-Witness Mount
This is a nice looking, robust optic with a tremendous field of view and limited obstructions for shooting with both eyes open. It has a nice feature that gives you an option to turn off the optic between setting 2 and 3. If you have astigmatism, the green dot flares less in brighter light than in low light. If you are looking at this in low light take it to a brighter location to see if that makes a difference . Works great at the range but you may need to compensate for a home defense option (the dot would go from 2 MOA to 6ish). In brighter light, setting 3 is very fine and works great to zero in your rifle. While I’m sure this optic will take a beating, I can’t say it’s better than a $200 Holosun. In fact, it’s probably inferior in performance due to Holosun’s features (auto shut off, shake awake and solar). But its ability to take a beating, it’s ample field of view and the fact that it looks much better than any other red dot on the market, make it worth a try if you like to flex on people. ... show more

  • The perfect red or green dot sight for a Beretta CX4
Style: Low Mount
This is the 3rd MRO I've purchased, the 1st green dot model. All are on Beretta CX4 carbines. The 2 red dots are on a 45ACP and a PX4 magwell 9mm. The new green dot is on my 92 series 9mm magwell version. All provide a quick sight picture and co-witness with the iron sights on my CX4s. The 2 red dots have seen a lot of range and duty use with no issues. I fully confident the green dot will serve just as well. ... show more
