This is a great speaker. I needed one for 6U softball tournaments. The sound carries to first and third base. The base can be adjusted. I can't speak of the battery life since I haven't had it long enough. The ease of setting it up was great. It's a little heavy to carry but I put in our wagon. Great speaker for the price. I didn't want to spend $500 on a speaker for the ball field, this was $209 with the coupon and worth every penny.

Last year, I ordered the StormBox Blast 1, and it was everything you could want in a speaker — loud, clear, and durable. I used it at all my daughter's softball games, and it never let us down. Unfortunately, I lost it last week after leaving it at the field. I was really bummed, but Tribit’s customer service — shoutout to Cathy — came through big time. She gave us a discount code, and we ordered the new StormBox Blast 2. Let me tell you... it’s even better than the first one! Louder, clearer, and now you can link two phones at once. It’s amazing. I now own five products from Tribit, and I’m a fan for life. Their speakers are top-notch, and their customer service is honestly the best I’ve dealt with. This is my second storm box. The family fought over the first one so much I just ordered me another for myself. Best by far for sound specially at the beach! We love it and don’t go anywhere on outdoor trips without it. They are a little heavy but I understand with the listening power it packs, doesn’t bother me at all. Very easy to use, great quality sound for the money!
