Why I ordered this item: I have ~10 bluetooth speakers that I have acquired over the years. These range from my original UE Boom ($200 in 2013!) all the way up to modern units. No matter what I've purchased, I've never found the responsiveness and depth of sound that I want. I produce music as a hobby, ranging from pop to metal to heavy EDM and everything in between. What I want more than anything in a bluetooth speaker is to reproduce all of the frequencies in my music the way I intended them to be heard. Well, that and extreme volume. Up until I ordered this speaker, I had resigned myself to mediocre bluetooth speaker audio quality. On a whim, I Googled "best large bluetooth party speaker" and this was one of the five results I found. After some additional research, I decided to click the order button. Likes: * The first thing I noticed is that this is a HEAVY speaker. I realize that's probably a No Like for most people, but it's perfect for me. My five year old kid can't move it which is something that frequently happens with my other speakers. * I don't mind the weight because I am not trying to take this backpacking. I want to move it around my house, outside sometimes, to the beach sometimes and take it car camping with my family each summer. It's perfect for all of those situations. * I powered the speaker up. It was extremely easy to connected it to my phone via bluetooth. I downloaded the Tribit app to control the EQ but I left the default settings, at least at first. * As I always do, I played Savant's "Pirate Bay 2" as the first in my group of test songs. No one was home except my aging father, and he is mostly deaf so I was able to really let this speaker rip. * OH. MY. TOCHONDRIA. This is by far the best sounding bluetooth speaker I have ever heard. It's not even close. This sounds better than my much more expensive home theater setup. My home theater setup is much louder, but in terms of audio quality at normal volumes this speaker has it beat. * All frequency ranges are so clear that it makes my eyes water. I did have to turn the bass down a little bit as I ratcheted up the volume because the drops in Pirate Bay 2 maxed out what the sub in this speaker could handle. It wasn't too bad, so I dropped the bass by maybe 20% of the slider. At that level (with the speaker plugged in and the volume maxed) the bass sounded pretty much perfect on that song. It hits super hard. * In case it needs to be said, this speaker is LOUD. It doesn't feel like 200w should be able to produce this much sound. You could have this on the beach and hear it from 100+ feet away. You could probably feel the bass from 100 feet away. * All of this, and at the time I purchased this speaker it was $250. This is only $50 more than my UE Boom, which definitely does not hit super hard, sound great or represent extreme value. It's insane to me that a company can offer this speaker for under $300. * I have not tried it yet but apparently you can pair two of these together. The horror!! My spouse would divorce me. Will divorce me? I am definitely going to buy a second one. * The mic inputs on the back are perfect for our family as we love to do karaoke parties with our friends. This is going to save me a ton of time getting my karaoke setup ready. I have never seen this on a bluetooth speaker before, and I really appreciate this small but impactful touch. * I have an outdoor shower I use when it's not raining and while I do have speakers outside, this sounds way better than those do. I've been taking it into the shower with me since it's waterproof. No likes: * I thought about what I would change about this speaker for a long time. These are all very minor gripes. * I would like it if I could power this on from the app. * It would be cool if the mic inputs had separate EQ from the main stream. I'd like to be able to adjust levels on voice separate from music. * It would be really cool to be able to use all 200w of power while using the battery (you need to have it plugged or it goes to 180w. * None of these are important. This speaker is incredible. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes and I will buy another one, right after I buy my spouse a nice present as a preemptive divorce deterrent. Final thoughts: If you are on the fence, just buy this speaker. This is the coolest gadget I've ever found and it's priced unbelievably competitively. Thank you, Tribit, for making this old codger's wireless auditory dreams come true.

I bought this speaker because of my previous experience with its smaller sibling, which is also excellent! This speaker could be described as having good sound quality and very powerful bass; the latter is where it truly shines. I've had it for a while now and have tested it extensively. It has great power (you could easily throw a small party with it), and the battery life is excellent. It's truly waterproof (I've tested that too), and the sound quality is very good: clear vocals, solid mids, and very powerful bass, even at high volumes without distortion. If I had to mention a drawback, it would be that it's heavy; it's on the thin line between being truly "portable."

I love it! It's awesome! And it can get loud, VERY loud! Lots of room to create your own EQ settings, and the factory ones are no slouch in that department either! Controls are easy to access and use, AC power will charge it fast, and the battery will last that 30 hours they say it can, or indefinitely if you keep it plugged into AC power. One thing I want to point out is that if you're using the microphone inputs, you may have a sort of "split second" delay as to the response. I noticed this with both of them when I plugged in one of my electric guitars. Whether this is a factory default or something else, it's not bothersome to me. The reverb is even better than on a lot of guitar amplifiers. The entire unit is meant to be a "one stop solution" for various types of audio output, I understand that. But my primary reason for buying it was to have great, portable sound that I can carry anywhere, not as a PA or a guitar amplifier. To wrap it up, I would highly recommend the Tribit StormBox Blast 2. It won't let you down when you want to just have a nice listening experience at home or get the jam going at an outdoor party!

Other than no fm capability, its an awesome speaker. Which i can't seem to find paired with quality and sound etc. Great quality sound with good bass, mid and treble. Great battery life too. And good bluetooth range as well. I use it on the jobsite doing construction and it's been durable and has performed great everyday all day! Throw it in the truck and pull it out for back yard time as well!

Simply the best speaker I've ever owned. All of my stuff is Bose, so I took a chance on buying this and was blown away at everything it does. I haven't had it at full blast, there's no need. It's loud, clear, crisp, and delivers the sound you want. It's got some weight to it, but you'll know where your money went. My last portable speaker was the Bose Soundlink, and this makes it 100% obsolete. It will be your go to speaker, and needless to say it's impressive. Buy it with no regrets, you deserve something this fabulous. Deserves ten stars. It's a charge and play out of the box. You will need the free app Tribit to maximize your experience. Easily connects to your Bluetooth, and functions perfectly. The deep bass is over the top. It's a pleasure to own this.
