This conditioner makes my hair so soft and much more manageable for detangling. In regards to how my hair feels when using it, I have no complaints. However, this is the only product I have ever used in life that has physically made me sick. I am not sensitive to anything. I am not allergic to anything. I'm a very tough woman. So, how this product makes me feel physically is concerning. My eyes get VERY irritated when using it. I'm guessing from the little water that may run onto my face when rinsing. Like I said, I use it to detangle my hair so I may have the conditioner in my hair for up to 30 minutes. It just depends. (I have a lot of hair.) Maybe it's the length of time I have the conditioner in my hair, but I literally start to cough and gag. It's almost as if one of the ingredients is toxic to me. The irritation and tightness I get in my throat and chest after using it lasts for a good day or two after using. I cough and gag and cough and gag and cough some more. My body literally rejects something in this conditioner. I had no idea what was causing me to have such a reaction because I use several products while washing my hair, but by process of elimination, I've come to realize this is it. I bought the large bottle and have yet to use half of it and will be throwing the rest away. I'm sure everyone will not have the same reaction to it. It does soften your hair, however, something is on the ingredient list that tells me it's not the best to use on a regular basis. Just a heads up. I don’t think this actually tresseme. Bottles arrived already open with no seal under the cap. Looks, smells, and makes my hair feel different than store-bought version of same product. Buyer beware.

It is indeed very moisturizing, although if your hair is low porosity it can be a little too much. Makes my hair feel like cotton candy and my hair isn't as defined. The third ingredient is dimethicone, which can just sit on your hair and cause buildup. It does smell amazing though and if you have particularly dry hair, this would work for you. ... show more

At first I thought this was amazing. It detangled my hair in the shower and as my hair was air drying it felt so soft. But the results really stopped there. As soon as my hair dried, it was so tangled, almost ratty. My hair is normally thick and easily manageable. I bought such a big bottle and considering it was so cheap I kept using it. I started to get a waxy build up from this conditioner (was still using my regular shampoo) which I noticed whenever I wet my hair to wash it... kind of like I couldn't get my scalp properly wet. I have fairly thick and wavy hair and I bought both the shampoo and conditioner. I used as directed and it turned my hair into a greasy or dry frizz bomb every time I used the combo. Even when I put after shower products in. No shampoo and conditioner combo has ever done this to me and when you look at the ingredient list it's horrifying too. Most hair dressers in fact would not recommend. I bought this because it was on the cheaper side but since this is your hair we are talking about it might be better of spending more money. This isn't a conditioner that I would categorize to being good for a specific hair type. Instead it's just an all around mid range conditioner that almost anyone can use. It doesn't have an added scent as far as I can tell and simply must smells like conditioner. It kind of reminds me of yogurt that could be flavored but instead is just plain. The bottle is pretty big and is 28 Oz total. I noticed I had to use a pretty decent amount to cover my hair type which is curly. It didn't do an excellent job at conditioning my curly hair like more expensive conditioners do but it nourished it exactly the amount that I expected it to for a cheaper mid range conditioner. My expectations were completely met by this conditioner and I would purchase it again if I needed a lower grade conditioner to save money on my toiletries for a month or so. ... show more
