There used to be a huge difference between the sort of running machines you can afford yourself, and the ones you find in the gym. Not any more apparently. Like the newer crop of cheap Chinese photography equipment, this cheap Chinese (I assume) treadmill is very solid. I’m not a small lad, I’m currently just over 250, and it can put up with me stomping along on it. The difference between this and the professional treadmills you will find at a gym are: - Size. This is clearly designed for apartments. It’s short and narrow, so someone with long legs and clown feet may struggle with the size of the running area. - Tech niggles. You won’t be able to sync this with your phone apps, smart watch or anything. And the heart rate monitor takes about a minute to get up to speed. This is done by gripping the handles, which are pretty low, so can only really be done while walking, unless you’re really good at running while stooped like a T-Rex. - Peripherals. There are no usb chargers, speakers, iPad holders or anything, but you’re at home, so that doesn’t really matter. It has three drinks holders, two of which are useful for smartphones, they even have holes so that you can feed a charger cable through them. - Incline depth. This won’t recreate a steep hill like the machines at your gym, but it will give you a bit of an angle to up the difficulty. If you are training to run up mountains, you’ll regret buying this. Actually, you should just go and run up a hill. Go! - Ease of programming. It’s a little unintuitive, I’m currently just using the buttons to make the incline and speed go up and down. I tried a couple of the preset programs, but to my annoyance, the speed changed and not just the incline. Maybe I’ll figure it out. Maybe I’m too lazy. This might all sound like a bunch of negatives, but this still gets 5 stars across the board. Its easy to put together, it can withstand the weight of a fatty like me, and it seems more cushioned, quieter, and better built than any affordable home treadmill I’ve tried before. And for the price, who cares if it doesn’t have a quadraphonic sound system and jacuzzi. The real test is how long this thing lasts. Who knows, maybe I’ll be back in three months to complain, but for now, I recommend it. ... show more

This item arrived quickly and was easy to assemble, just a few screws to put in. Manual instructions were pretty funny to read.. took time to understand. It works well and is comfortable to use. I tried the programed works outs... be careful if your just starting out. I wanted a product rated for 265 lb, however the manual states this is only rated for 220b. Over all it seems like a very good product. I have used it everyday since it arrived for 45 to 65 minutes. I am a walker not a runner, but it goes fast enough if running is your choices. Seller was very cooperative with my concerns on the weight discrepancy. Would recommend!!! ... show more

Love it so far! I didn’t want a treadmill to take up half the room. This folds up easily and can be pushed against the wall so it doesn’t take up much floor space when not in use. It is a bit heavy to push around. Love that it inclines as well.

The Incline doesn't work. You can hear the motor run, but it doesn't elevate the track. The warranty & Customer support says to "contact us via the email on the cover". I looked the whole booklet over and even the cover on the box, there is no email or any other information about the company except the address on the last page. I would like to have it fixed. If I don't hear from someone I will have to return it. It is now a few weeks later, the company did get back with me and made me satisfied. I did give it three more stars. ... show more

I entered my sex, age height and weight. But, every time I turn the treadmill off and then go back to it do do another workout I am back to being a 25 year old male who is 67 inches tall and weighs 154 lbs (the default). This is REALLY annoying because calories can not be properly calculated for a 115 lb woman using those settings. It was also not an easy setup. Thank God I didn’t attempt it coz the Amazon guy told me he would have had to leave if I started taking it apart. It took him a while, too, coz one of the metal support braces was bent and a plastic bumper wouldn’t go on. So much for “four screws”. 😆 ... show more

With limited space this treadmill is perfect. I like the way you can change the speed by the hand controls. I would make sure that there is a mat underneath the treadmill because dirt can fall from your foot or shoes, this way it is easy to clean up.

Like others who have purchased this piece of equipment, we had an issue with the incline hydraulic. It worked for about 2 weeks then got stuck at a 3 percent incline. The computer was registering an error so none of the troubleshooting solutions worked. The manual says to contact the company via the email on the cover--which wasn't present. No email anywhere. I tried to contact the company through Amazon but never heard back. Luckily I found a solution! The motor for the hydraulic and the motor for the walking belt are independently wired. The treadmill works fine without the hydraulic motor plugged in, so I took the hydraulic completely off. So, it no longer inclines, but we can still use it. I also may have figured out why it failed. All the gears that turn the hydraulic are made of plastic. One simple gear bend or break and there goes the hydraulic motor. You get what you pay for. ... show more
