I used the travelon purse/bag on my recent 3 week trip to France & Germany. It had just the right number of internal pockets and outside zippered areas. I felt very secure as I walked through many crowded & busy cities, hopping on and off public transit. All the zippers had secure locks, if I chose to use them. I would definitely recommend this travel bag!

Great bag. I got this for my 13” laptop and it works really well for that. The fit is nearly perfect and it feels really solid. It has more than enough space for everything and the base is wide enough that it can stand up on its own. The little led light it comes with is great for finding things that fell to the bottom too and the the water bottle pouch can zip closed when you’re not using. It gets 4 stars though because of the little disappointing things Like other reviews say, the teal on the front is noticeably different in person than what shows in the product info. It’s much more of a medium-dark blue and less vibrant. The listing’s picture of the back is a lot closer to what the bag actually looks like but it’s dark compared to the bag. I love the colors but a vibrant teal like in the listing would have been nicer The opening is a tiny bit too narrow for what I got it for - the main zipper opens 11 1/4” wide and my laptop is about 11 2/3” wide, so it has to be finessed in and out. It’s nice knowing that the laptop can’t fall out, but it’s a hassle. Another small thing is that the material is a bit too heavy-duty outdoor nylon for my tastes None of these things are that big and are easy to ignore, especially considering how great everything else is, but it’s just a bit disappointing

Planning to take a trip abroad and needed a handy day bag. This looks like it'll be perfect. It's well made, very attractive and exactly the right size to carry stuff needed for the day and yet not be too large or bulky. It tucks nicely under the arm, has a thick strap that looks impervious to being slashed and fits comfortably across the chest. The textured fabric and teal color with black interior and zippers looks very classy. The zippers are substantial and move easily and the stitching is perfect. The zipper pulls have clever little clips that are easy to open, but once clipped onto the metal rings would make life difficult for a pickpocket to get open. The shoulder strap can be unclipped from its ring so that the strap can be tethered through the back of a chair. The whole thing has RFID blocking technology so someone can't read your credit cards through the bag. It's not super lightweight, but not bad. It weighs about as much as other purses or bags I have of the same size. I like the fact that the bottle carrier on the side can be zipped closed if you don't want to use it for a bottle and can probably double to carry an umbrella. My only complaint is that the bottle carrier is not big enough for my plastic water bottle, but I can always put it inside the purse. All in all, really pleased with my purchase and looking forward to putting it to the test on my trip to Europe.

I used this bag for a month in Mexico City and it was exactly what I needed. The bag is large enough for a Lifestraw Go filtered water bottle, glasses in a case, sunglasses, and a long-sleeve top or compressible puffy jacket. The zippered RFID pocket is large enough for a coin purse and passport along with credit and debit cards in their little slots. I really liked the pockets for organizing everything, not too many and not too few. The included flashlight came in handy a few times. The outer water bottle holder is small and only good for a 16 or maybe 20 oz disposable bottle, which is why I had to keep the LIfestraw in the main compartment. The main zippered compartment and the front-facing zippered compartment each have a latch on the zippers so you don't have to worry about pickpockets sneaking them open. I definitely felt worry-free with this bag in crowded situations, including the metro at rush hour.

I bought my first Travelon crossbody 4 years ago & began using it as my everyday bag. Two years ago I added a small backpack to use as a carry-on bag and for day trips in Italy, but I tired of having to take the pack off and set it in front of me every time I needed to fish out my sunglasses or wallet or rain gear. I like this larger crossbody because it has the same basic configuration as my small one so all my stuff is where I’m accustomed to reaching for it, and it’s large enough to hold my water, rain gear, & snacks also. I plan to leave the backpack and the small crossbody at home and only carry this larger crossbody on my upcoming trip to France. Pack lightly!

I really love this bag for its size, spaciousness and organizational set up. Unfortunately with first use for 2 weeks, the material around the zip started peeling off which is not aesthetically pleasing. For the cost of the bag, I expected better quality and longer wear time.

I went to CA for several days and didn’t want to bring my big leather purse. The leather purse it too heavy to carry around all day. I bought this Travelon purse and I LOVE IT! I did get it as a used purse through Amazon. Still loved it. It’s light and the strap is adjustable so I could wear it as a crossbody and I didn’t get fatigued. It held everything I needed and I love the pocket for a water bottle. I like the zippered pocket in the purse, I kept earphones in there for the plane ride. I used the outside zippered pockets for receipts and maps and such. I love that you can clip the zipper pulls to rings too, to make pickpocket theft harder. Great product!
