I bought this so it could be my travel umbrella-some of the selling aspects for me included its reverse feature, it comes with a sleeve to pack it back into for storage, and it's compact/not heavy for slipping into my carry-on backpack for flights. It has been doing well so far-it stood up to really gusty wind and rain in London. I appreciated that it didn't break when the wind got rough and still looks new. The way it folds back in is convenient for when you're ready to leave it out to dry after being out. Overall, I'm impressed by its performance and glad I took a chance at purchasing it. I am in love with my new umbrella! The color is bright and cheerful, easy to catch sight of when I'm running out the door. The button to open and close is super quick to respond. The only downside for me is that closing the umbrella only draws the frames in and I still have to push the umbrella down, so I tend to get wet when that happens. Still, I'm happy with it. The handle is very comfortable. It feels quite sturdy. It takes a little effort to close, but that is just because of the tension required for automatic open. My only suggestions would be making it a little shorter when collapsed (to fit in car doors and backpacks Elmore easily). Also, the auto close button kind of splashes water everywhere from the umbrella dome when closing. Good overall though! It's a one layer umbrella, so it isn't as helpful as two layered upside down. I didn't realized it before buying, though it is my mistake, I recommend taking that into account
