What a surprise to find that when I received this neoprene transducer cover, it came with an aluminum carabiner attached to the loop at the back. When attached to the cable, this gives you another level of security against losing the cover when trailering in case the Velcro closure should come undone. The fit is good and I feel this will provide a decent level of protection against road hazard damage, should a rock strike the transducer. For what this is, I don't think there's much that could be done to improve the functionality. If you want a higher level of protection, look at some of the hard covers that are out there, but this will certainly keep the transducer protected and free of road dirt.

I got this cover to protect my Garmin Livescope Plus LVS34 when I’m moving between the house, the truck, and the boat. It fits snug around the transducer and doesn’t slide around. I like that I can put it on and take it off with one hand. The material feels tough but still flexible. I fish in different conditions, including cold mornings and some pretty rough weather, and this cover has held up really well. It keeps the sensor protected from bumps and scratches when I’m loading gear or when things shift in the boat. I also use it in the winter when we go ice fishing, and it keeps the unit from getting beat up on the ice. It’s nice that the cover doesn’t get in the way when I’m out on the water. I take it off and start fishing like normal. When I’m done, I put it back on and store everything without worrying about damage. This made it a lot easier to keep my Livescope in good shape. I’m glad I picked it up.
