  • Superior performance
Style: 2,300-Watt Dual Fuel
AFTER HURRICANE MILTON: This is a GREAT machine !! I hooked up a 30A connection to my main load center and made an easy ground connection. Connected to a standard 40# propane tank. This generator powered my fridge and many low powered items for 20 hours consuming 80% of the tank, WAAAYYYY over the expected consumption rate in the manual. ABSOLUTELY strong, relatively quiet, compact and not too heavy. STRONGLY RECOMMEND !!!!!!!!!!! INITIAL REVIEW: Bought due to dual fuel, small size, and price. Came in undamaged box ~ 12 days. Came with 30A adapter from generator to 3 prong like a stove. Also spark plug wrench, +/- screwdriver, 17/19 mm open wrench, great oil filling funnel, parallel connector wire. Did not come with oil. Previous negative comments regarding the access to the oil filler cover. Inside picture attached. Note the two tabs on the left side of the pic, or right side when installed. Found it easy to remove by getting a putty knife in the gap on the left side middle, using it to create space,, then using a flat tip to pry gently each location of the 6 metal tabs seen. Came off relatively easy, no real prying leverage needed. Using only propane. Took like 10 pulls to get it caught....I used the choke and it caught easy. Will follow up after use but looking good !! ... show more

  • Runs great on propane.
Style: 2,300-Watt Dual Fuel
Generator was easy to setup and is relatively quiet. Could not hear the generator from more than 40 feet away. I use a gas grill propane tank to fuel mine and I find that this is so much cleaner and easier than gasoline (no fuel spills, no worrying about gasoline sitting and getting stagnant in the carburetor). The propane is clean burning and I feel like there are less fume smells with the propane. ... show more

  • Doesn’t perform as advertised
Style: 11,000-Watt Dual Fuel
The media could not be loaded. Update! Warranty repair did not fix the under performance issue. It cant even push 6000 watts continuous on either fule. It's rated at 9000 watts on gas. 8550 on propane. working with warranty department to fix issue. will update review when satisfactory outcome is achieved, If you like a generator that can only reach 70% of its advertised running capacity, then this is the generator for you! It worked well when following the preparation instructions, but out on our first camping trip it isn’t performing at all as advertised on both fuels. I’m extremely disappointed with its performance. ... show more

  • Phenomenal machine
Style: 11,000-Watt Dual Fuel
Extremely powerful, yet extremely quiet. Bought this to replace a Northstar 13,000-watt generator that was giving a few issues under heavy load (I suspect a failing breaker, easy fix), but also was extremely loud and fuel-hungry. This one is shockingly quiet, and even under heavy load it's probably half as loud as the old one. So far it also seems to be much more efficient since the inverter allows it to idle down and save fuel. Definitely need to turn off the idle down feature when running a welder off of it, otherwise the initial spark will surge a bit until the RPM's increase. but otherwise, I see no reason to ever turn it off. Did NOT come with oil, which was surprising but not unwelcome. I likely wouldn't have used it anyways as I only run Rotella T6 in all OPE. ... show more

  • Limited technical information available for DIY adjustments and repairs
Style: 4,500-Watt Dual Fuel
This generator appeared to fit the needs of my RV. It did not disappoint outta the box. It was louder than I expected but it’s my first generator so not a lot to compare to. My big issue came after the first 100 hours of use. I live in Denver, so altitude has an impact on performance. My spark plug fouled enough to create reliability issues. Not good when you rely on the generator to provide ac for your dogs while you aren’t on-site and it’s 96f outside. The obviously solution is to rejet the carb. Unlike just about every other brand, there is no high altitude kit available, and there are virtually no specs available online to be able to source the correct parts yourself. The manual pretty much tells you to take it to an authorized repair shop. There is only one in all of Denver and they are closed on weekends. Not to mention I am not interested in paying someone 100 bucks to install a 10 dollar part I am capable of replacing on my own. I was able to dig into the motor and find the brand of carb and the required jets on my own. But it was a pain in the ass trouble shooting this issue when it should have been common information in the manual. So in summary, this company doesn’t want you making your own repairs, but doesn’t offer enough of a service network to make it easy to rely on ‘the pros’. Otherwise this generator provides all of my power needs. I can run the ac, microwave, and even my central vacuum at the same time. Plus lights and whatever else I might need, not that I ever use all of those at the same time. But I tested it all and it works great. I do not recommend this generator to anyone who isn’t prepared with tools and know how, who intends on using it above the recommended 3k feet above sea level. It’s not convenient at all to arrange an appointment to have your jets changed, and pay someone to do something that takes 10 minutes (but require a half day to do it!) once you’ve got it figured out. Also, the maintenance section of the manual gives instructions on most the basic procedures: oil change, spark plugs… it mentions servicing the fuel filter but had absolutely no instructions on the matter. Not even the location of it. Nor is this info available on the website. Not difficult to find on your own but it would be nice if instruction were provided for everything that is listed in the maintenance schedule. When you have to lift/move 115lbs before beginning any work, it is nice to be prepared before you begin and they do not prepare you. ... show more

  • Propane is the way to go.
Style: 2,300-Watt Dual Fuel
Great product except for taking off the cover to get to the oil plug. I was afraid I would break something. The included oil funnel and tools was a nice surprise. I got it because of the dual propane and gas option. Added oil, hooked it up to a propane tank and was running on two pulls.

  • Running well after 6 months
Style: 4,500-Watt Dual Fuel
Holding up well after several hundred hours in a marine environment (freshwater). Lighter weight than some competitors but also a bit louder. This is about the only generator in its size range with a GFCI receptacle which is why we purchased it.
