This livescope transducer cover is a nice cheap insurance from impacts while cruising down the interstate. I was nervous about having my new $1100 transducer just chillin on the trolling motor facing the direction of road rash so I ordered this neoprene cover from Luoke. 1st impression is that it seems to be made with quality care. No loose threads, and even stitching. I would say its on the lighter, thinner side of thickness, but some protection is better than none. The amount of velcro on the strap and cover could have been increased, but its not going anywhere i guess. The velcro strap is a bit awkward to use when trying to use this with a Garmin force with the integrated livescope head/mount. If you are using the LVS34 mounting location/bracket from Garmin on a Garmin force trolling motor, the bracket can get in the way for securing the velcro strap. See pics. I will still use this until I can find a hard plastic cover for more durability and next level protection.

It fits the transduecer very well and the velcro has a strong hold. It is waterproof, and it does not appear to be able to tear easily. So i would say it is durable and made to last. It is a nice protection for my garmin, so id say a needed investment.

Makes for decent backup in a pinch but I would not use it as my primary transducer cover. First of all, the cover is neoprene and thin, fitting snugly to the transducer, which keeps things low profile, but during rough travels on ice and waves, I question how much hitting things will potentially damage the transducer. However, if you need a cover just from dust and dirt, this makes a great fit. It actually does a good job of that sort of protection, just not in terms of impact protection. The Velcro is on backwards so you're going to have to make minor adjustments to make it work for your transducer orientation, but not a big deal. Personal preference there. Time will tell how long the Velcro will last, but if you don't want to spend too much money and need a neoprene cover for dust and dirt, this is a good deal. I would think being neoprene, it'll float, so that's another benefit.

I held off on covering my transducer thinking it was not really a necessity, but hearing all the stories of rocks or debris hitting an expensive item changed my mind. This cover is easy to put on and take off. Stitching is good and the neoprene is good quality. Im happy with it and now have some peace of mind traveling down the road.
