We love our new hammock! It could not have been easier to put together.. literally took about 3 minutes, even including the unboxing! It is super light (but incredibly sturdy!), so pulling it around the yard from sun to under a tree for shade is the easiest thing ever. It is very nice looking and holds the both of us beautifully! This hammock is perfect for our purposes. We didn’t want to leave it up in the yard and let it get weathered. It opens up and closes back down so easily. My 12-year old did it by herself initially. It fits very nicely in the carrying bag so you can take it anywhere. We will definitely be bringing this on camping trips. It is not hard to fit back into the bag either. The hammock fabric is thick, strong mesh. Like basketball short mesh. Not super attractive, but very sturdy. We got the yellow and it’s much brighter than the mustard-ish color we were expecting, but we didn’t get it for looks. Overall, a great purchase. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is my first ever hammock, purchased to make relaxing in the Great Outdoors more comfortable than the collapsible chair's I normally lug to the picnic site. I was a little concerned at first as I found mine had three adjustable settings on one end, but only two on the other as some other reviewers had noticed: However a quick read of the instructions indicated this is as designed: it's so you can have one end slightly higher than the other so you can sit up more (if you want). I bought it to make my child, who has special needs, feel comfortable on the trip to Adirondacks. It’s a little heavy but not too heavy. It fits in the trunk of a midsize car easily. It is easy to assemble (takes less than a minute). On the trip we could park along the road at designated spots, and just be comfortable. Recommended for family road trip warriors :). ... show more

NOTE: pictures above are of a hammock that has been used hundreds of times over almost a year. I originally purchased this hammock to take on a road trip as my family was moving out of state. It appeared to have the perfect combination of either set up and portability that I wanted for an RV with limited storage space. Turns out I was right. After almost a year and hundreds of uses in numerous states and cities within, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It has now found a home in the backyard of my new house and I still love it just as much as day one. The hammock has proven durability through many nights sitting outside in weather ranging from below 0 to 100+. It has survived numerous reckless children mistaking it for a toy. A few weeks ago I noticed the hammock material fraying on one side and became concerned about the stability and weight tolerance. After contacting Tranquillo support about the issue, I received a quick, thoughtful response and had a replacement hammock in my hands before before I could believe it. As you can see in the picture two of the four supports are not punched all the way through making it unusable for a bigger hammock. You can not adjust the the longest setting so the hammock will sag more. It is a nice product they just need better quality control.

The hammock was easy to set, great feel and seems sturdy. I gave it one star because there should be 3 slots punched out per arm. One side of the hammock only has 2 punched out, this makes it impossible to set the hammock at the highest setting. Very dissatisfied, with what otherwise could have been great.
