WOW! I am so impressed with this Light bulb Camera. Great business to work with too! So easy to set up it was unreal. Came with directions that you could actually follow, understand and they actually helped get the camera set up. You do need to download the VicoHome app. That also was so easy and fast. When I get everything set in my Android Phone. It walked me through everything step by step. It tells me that I needed an updated version of the app. I hit the button and it updated in just a few minutes and then I continued setting the camera up. Starting working right away. I am using Cloud right now for backup, but, I also added a SD Card. That was even easy to load with this app. The App. itself is easy to work with. It is on my enclosed front porch now and with us having the door open for a bit to put the camera up the windows steamed up. The camera is actually picking up movement through the steamed up window. I love that it has a flood light on it as I had to take out my light on the front porch to add the camera. I can control the light on my phone. I did need to use a light bulb extension socket with the camera as above the windows on my enclosed porch there is 9 inch trim above the windows. Had no problems with that either. When I set up the camera I had screwed the camera into a lamp in the house. I got everything going, then I unscrewed it and put it in the outlet on the porch. The app. immediately picked up the camera and did a scan for it to connect. It would of taken less time if I would have remembered to turn the light switch on for the light socket outside. LOL! Took a second to figure it out. I liked that it started working right away. I am still playing around with how I and what I want it to pick up. So far it is easy to follow and under almost of of the buttons to turn on and off on the App. it tells you exactly what it will do if you turn it on or turn it off. That helped me a lot. As far as the business I ordered from: Super fast delivery. i love that they sent me an email that had tips on setting up if you ran into any problems. It was nice to have a business reach out to me first to solve problems ahead of time instead of sitting here brewing because you can't figure out what is going on and why it is not working. You can also reach out to them and they will help you. Needless to say I can toss the 2 other cameras I purchased awhile back since I could not get any answers to help me get them set up. I'm happy now i have some security. After I was all set up. i received an email from VicoHome App. with Articles that are helpful and how to get a hold of them if I have any questions. The media could not be loaded. Great value for money, easy to install and set up, sound quality is good and video quality is great, functionality is excellent, easy to pan around and position cam in any direction you want. I have it in my light fixture because I wanted a camera but cant put a floodlight camera where my light fixture is because HOA aesthetic rules. This allowed me to keep the current light fixture and have a camera for security. It has a light I can use when I need and it works with night vision.

I've been very pleasantly surprised. This is the first time I've had a security camera. I wanted something easy and simple to install, as well as be able to keep my porch light on during the night. This was quick, easy, and pretty user friendly. I opted for the SD card, or you have the option for subscription. Audio, Video, and Night Vision work good. If you have the SD card it will notify you with a screen shot of the video/time, then you just look it up on your SD card. I also like how you can record a segment or screen shot and download it to your phone as well as delete the notifications. You can adjust the settings to your liking as far as motion and sensitivity. I also like how it tracks motion as well. It does lag a little at times but overall pretty happy!

The media could not be loaded. I have had this unit running 24/7 for about 5 or 6 weeks. Here are the top things to know before you purchase. Data plan is necessary to access videos and live view after the free trial. $169.90 for 12 months unlimited. $99.90 for 6 months unlimited. I also installed 128 GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card for storage. If you do not install a card for storage, you are limited to cloud storage options which add additional cost. The card is highly recommended if you want to view and download events or download live video recordings without paying more for cloud storage. The device will not send push notifications for activity detected, which I have discovered after the fact the most of the name brand ones will not do this either. The live monitoring video quality is excellent. Night vision is one of the best I have seen. Amazon will only allow one video in reviews, so I cannot post additional examples. It appears to be weather resistant, although I installed an 8 x 12 plastic shield above it to keep the rains from pouring on top of it. The solar panel does a great job of keeping it fully charged. It has remained connected to 4G network from date of installation. In summary, there are two improvements I would like to see. One is e-mail or text push notifications for activity detected. Next is consistency on activity detection. It responds to make automatic recording about 85% of the time. Need 100% if this is to be used as a security device. I will keep it operational for the time being since it delivers on monitoring when manually initiated from the app. It has recorded many very cool wildlife videos.

I have owned many brands of game cameras over 20 some years of hunting this is the last game camera I will ever buy. Easy set up ,easy to connect to WiFi, solar panel never have to charge the best, picture and video clear, sends notifications on time. I needed customer service and they are the best.
