I have been using different brands of trail cameras since 2006 and have 35 of them. I have purchased 4 of the Rigdoo cameras because of the features that the camera has. I wanted the 48 no glow LED's for better night pictures. I also wanted the fast trigger speed and the SD card for picture storage (Other cameras use the micro SD card but it is so small it is difficult to insert and remove in camera without dropping it) and the camera had a very low price. These were the most important features for me in making my decision to purchase. The camera setup is very simple and I did not even have to look at the Manual to understand on how to program it. I am currently testing them in my backyard. I am very impressed with them so far. The night pictures are much better than my other cameras. They are quite clear and I have not had any blurry pictures to date. The trigger speed is very fast and it does pick up motion so fast that sometimes the image is not in the first picture but it will be in the second picture. This is due to the 130 degree wide angle sensing but the camera lens may not be quite 130 degrees. I have been using the supplied batteries and they are still at full charge after a week. I do not know how long the charge will last but it looks like it the camera is not draining them to fast. I will be putting in 8 different batteries when I put the cameras in the woods. I will know more in a couple of months after I get them in the woods for the real test. I will update my review if I find anything different than what I have said to date. This camera is inferior to the other cameras in its price category. It includes only four AAbatteries, which is enough to make it work and the SD card however, the camera we received would not write to the SD card even after formatting the card several times. We are familiar with the use of these type of cameras and have other cameras made by other manufacturers that work fine. We have returned this camera and ordered a Vikeri in place of the Rigdoo. We recommend the Vikeri brand for a few dollars more, however it requires a micro SD card and 8 AA batteries as an additional purchase. ... show more

Batteries DOA! Takes 4 batteries yet space for 8. Batteries died during set up. Really sucks! Do not buy was DOA for us. Let down. Buy a chargeable one or you will have to by new batteries each use. Poor product i am sending back.

The plastic mounting pieces are pretty brittle so go easy with them whenever mounting or moving the unit.

Comes with 4 batteries. Instructions say 4 batteries. Picture in instructions show 6 battery slots. The actual camera has 8 slots.
