Whether you eat these by themselves, which can be an intensely fabulous experience, or you cut them up and adorn your homemade chocolate bars with them, they are scrumptious. Somehow, they don’t taste cloyingly, sweet and the texture is divine. Mine arrived incredibly fresh in a vacuum seal package. At first, I thought this was expensive for the amount I was getting, but considering that I’m only going to eat a little bit at a time, or use them for my own tempered chocolate treats, they weren’t that expensive. I’ve been looking for fabulous candied orange rind for years. I had made the mistake of thinking it was better to buy something cut up. I was wrong. I admit that I bought these out of curiosity. They are ok but not really very edible. I will try them in hot tea but on their own? Not so much.
