I've used Trader Joe's ORGANIC Stevia extract for several years now to sweeten my hot teas and hot cacao beverages. It also works good in cold protein shakes. To me, there is little to no aftertaste. It does taste slightly different than table sugar, but you get used to it within just a few days of use. It dissolves extremely well in drinks. The price is fantastic. I can sweeten about 300 drinks with it, so it costs me about 5 cents per drink. The little jar lasts a year or so, and is very convenient to carry around or just have on my shelf. I use this no calorie leaves sweetener daily for coffee & sometime a smidgen for hot tea, too. It's a powder that doesn't stick together, so it's easily spoon swurled into the drink.

I use it in my morning coffee as it gives me the 'slight' sweetened taste I prefer . I like that there's no aftertaste. When I use it to sweeten sour fresh berries, etc. it's not as satisfying as real sugar would be for me.
