I was using a stevia blend with erythritol until I read a credible report of potential for blood clots from Erythritol. I am often suspicious that the sugar industry is quietly funding studies to find alleged health issues with alternate sweeteners which have been very important for weight control with me, but this study seemed more definitive and concerning. Most of the sweeteners that claim to be Monk or Stevia are actually blends with erythritol, so I had a problem.....until I found this product, tried it, love it. Sweet without aftertaste. And organic!!! There is a small amount of cane sugar, less than a gram per packet, but each packet packs a lot of sweetness so you don't use much which makes the amount of sugar insignificant. ... show more

For a sugar replacement this is very good. It is mixed with cane sugar too Cane sugar and Stevia. But no calories. It is much sweeter than sugar tho, so I use it sparingly. I love that there is no erythritol in it. It is the best " not sugar" I have found so far

I was already in the habit of using a combination of stevia drops with a bit of turbonado sugar since many brands of Stevia packets use some other ingredient along with Stevia which caused me some tummy issues and/or seemed too sweet or bitter to me. That being said, it’s not always convenient to do this especially when at work or other location away from home. I decided to try this product and am pleased with the taste, price and convenience and will keep using it as my every day sweetener for morning coffee. I can even carry a few packets with me when I’m on the road! FYI: I am not diabetic so sugar is not an issue for me but according to the In The Raw website: “Each packet of Organic Stevia In The Raw® contains a very small amount (about 0.75g) of Organic Cane Sugar” so if you are looking to completely avoid sugar this may not be the best option for you. Also, if you look at the label, it does say that each packet contains 3 calories. To me, it’s obvious that if something contains sugar it may have some calories but just pointing it out. ... show more
