I was previously using the "regular" Stevia In The Raw product, which I had selected because it didn't contain erythritol, but it had something of an aftertaste and was actually a little too sweet when using a whole packet. After I researched the added ingredient, dextrose, I found that it is almost immediately absorbed and can cause blood glucose spikes. This version of SITR uses a small amount of cane sugar to add bulk instead of dextrose, which will not spike my glucose levels as much, presumably.
