  • Strong heavy duty material and great customer service.
Size: 35 Foot
I bought this roof kit for my 33' fifth wheel trailer. I purchased a 9.5' x 35' long piece. Very impressed with the quality of this material, Very heavy duty. I would Definitely recommend it to others. (Way thicker than the bed sheet thickness that is on most of the older 5th wheel trailers and RVs.) Very good customer service, I was concerned there wouldn't be enough adhesive for my project. ( In their defense, I did order one of the largest pieces available) I spoke with Apex distributing. They were very quick to make the order correct and very helpful. I would recommend Apex distributing and their products again. For those concerned about creases. I would use a heat gun (not too hot to melt it) and a small roller to take care of that and/or leave it out in the sun like others have suggested. You can't have most distributors send a 10 foot long heavy roll to a customer easily and have the shipping price be much higher without having to deliver it in smaller package. ... show more

  • Please do not buy this product!
Size: 15 Foot
It comes folded up and crammed in a small box. You can NOT get the creases out and it WILL ruin the application. There is NO way to get this to lay down flat. I laid it out on the roof of my camper under plywood for days and it still wouldn’t lay down. I can’t get the bubbles out where the creases are so I have 5 stripes running down the length of my camper where the TPO is not even touching the deck. I’ve tried everything from rolling it out with a weighted roller to stacking plywood with car batteries on it for weight. Just find a local RV shop and spend the extra money on a roll or at least find a seller that doesn’t try to cram it in the smallest box they can find. On the plus side, I did call the seller with a question about the glue and they were very attentive and tried to give me advice and pointers, so A+ on customer service. The material is MUCH thicker than I expected and if it weren’t creased so terribly it would have come out great. ... show more

  • Tough stuff
Size: 15 Foot
We used the kit to replace the front "fiberglass" on a camp trailer that had gotten wet and separated. The glue and sealant seem to be pretty good quality, I got stuck to it a couple times! Make sure you apply the glue liberally over any wood or porous material and have help to get it right the first time. The only negative I found was the creases where it was folded are pretty much permanently there but it seems to be tough material. ... show more

  • Unfold it and roll it out - still had wrinkles!
Size: 40 Foot
I’d like to speak to the number one reason I was hesitant about buying this roof. I was really worried about the reviews that the creases never come out. I called and spoke with the seller and they assured me that when I get it to unfold it and roll it up and the creases will go away. I went to Home Depot and got a carpet core, removed the staples (very important) and then laid out furniture pads (I could have used a trap) on the ground to spread out the rubber roof with a helper. We then rolled the roof onto the core. I wound the roof so that when I unroll it it lays down with the white side up. I’m still working on prepping the RV but the roll looks good and I don’t see any wrinkles on the roll. Just remember prepping the roof is 90% of this job. Update: so I rolled this up on the carpet core and it sat for 2 solid weeks at least. As you can see I had creases in the roof. Even after being so cautious about rolling the material on the carpet core and then once I unrolled it on top of the RV. So after the creases are in, there doesn’t seem to be any going back. It’s not horrible, but if you look closely at my photo, you will see exactly where the folds and wrinkles are. The other issues I had was not enough caulk, but there was plenty of glue to adhere the roof to the RV. I’ve ordered more of the exact same type of caulk and hopefully I can finish this huge project by next weekend. ... show more

  • Impossible to flatten out creases caused by shipping
Size: 35 Foot
I have installed many roofs prior to this one. Only 5 TPO roofs but this was a nightmare. In shipping the tpo was folded and creased. Thought we could work the creases smooth but realized that was impossible and created large bubbles while attempting to roll smooth. I doubt there’s any way to really fix it and I’ll probably have to redo the entire thing. But in all fairness it came with an ample amount of glue and the material itself was cut long so we had plenty of roofing to complete our task and the thickness was spot on. I just hope somebody takes note of the shipping issue and is able to resolve. It so no one has to deal with this down the road ... show more

  • Creases in rubber roof
Size: 30 Foot
Great quality but the creases from it being shipped folded wouldn't come out. Once I received the roof I unfolded and rolled it up and still couldn't get them out. Put on camper and going to roll with it. Maybe some will come out sitting in the sun but I'm guessing not. Overall still a good product.
