This butyl tape is a lifesaver for sealing jobs. I used it around my RV windows and roof vents, and it applied easily with no mess. It’s super sticky, forms a tight seal, and molds well to uneven surfaces. Even in warm weather, it held up without slipping or oozing. This works but is really thick and super sticky. I had to replace the vapor barrier on the door of my car (the plastic sheet under the door card that prevents moisture from damaging the interior of the car) and this was super thick. I ended up stretching it to make it thinner but it worked. Wear rubber gloves and have lots of extra gloves when applying this. Don’t peal off the white tape backing until you are done applying it. Have a bottle of the citrus hand cleaner available along with a scrub sponge for any that gets on your hands.
