I was building a walk in closet in a spare bedroom, using book shelves. In doing this I had some weird sized spaces leftover, that I wanted to still use for storage. There was a light switch in the space, so it had to be very narrow. I never thought I would find a storage unit to fit such a small space. Lo and behold, Amazon has everything. This Furinno Fulda 10 tier(very narrow) book shelf was the perfect size! So simple to build, made well for a book shelf, holds my small clutch bags, so gave me extra storage and I didn’t have to waste this small space. Being so tall and narrow, I did secure it to the wall for stability and I would recommend this for safety. This is my 6th+ shelf I have purchased from furinno for my tiny apartment. I have a couple of different sizes from them. And so far, furinno have never steered me wrong. The assembly is relatively easy, I am just relatively kinda dumb when assembling things lol. If the instructions were much more detailed rather than what's shown. I think I would've had a better time with it. - Sturdiness is okay, yes it's wobbly but it's not like it's gonna tumble over on itself lol. - Functions as it should, I love the irregular design. I was looking for a shelf that wasn't just all standard size cubes. - Thickness is good, when screwing it was a bit difficult, but all the holes were pre drilled and everything aligned as it should too. I like the size as well, not too big for me. As I really needed a shelf for my very small apartment, this worked. But it's also not too small as I was able to decorate it to my liking. It fits many of my adorable little trinkets and books. The shelf perfectly fit my needs and is quite sturdy and fairly easy to put together. However, there is no text with the picture instructions. Next to last instruction shows a black Wedge shaped part of which there are four. I had no idea what it was supposed to do.
